only at an early stage but may want to go 19's on my BE. therefore what price do Audi 18" Rotor's go for?
as i say early stage.....

Snapped mine up with original tyres (5mm ish) for £800, but I literally think I bought them for the best deal ever. Others on ebay seemed to be going for just over 1,000 I'd say.

Im swapping my S3 alloys for the 19's from the RS3........but the RS3's have Accelera tyres on them which I do believe are crappy Conti Contact 3 reps. How bizarre to have that kind of tyre with that much power.

you got a straight swap? brodster lad. yep bit strange to have a budget tyre on quick car. where they changed by the owner? not sure what i'm doing yet, will chat to N8 if a few weeks time, see what are going about.

Yep straight swap. Will be fitting them hopefully mid next week so will pop some piccies up. Yeah the previous owner fitted them I believe before he traded it in for a Porsche. (The car was actually a TTRS not an RS3) - same wheels though.

very nice :o.k: not saying the 18" look poor, by a long way but they look better with the thinner arm's on the RS3 19"s. yep get those pic's up. How did you come abut them? if i can ask.

fair play lad. great deal you had there :detective2:

what next?

not sure where i going but spacers are on the list. put your lady 1st lad and she'll let you continue with your spending  well almost

I can't believe Audi would put Conti's on the S3 and Acceleras on the RS3!! In fact I can't believe Audi would put Accelera anything on any of their motors. We sell them at work and they are a budget tyre.

The Acceleras were put on by the guy who owned the TTRS before trading it in so he stuck cheap crappy tyres on so he could save himself some cash. I pity the poor unsuspecting punter that buys it without realising the tyres that are fitted. On a car like that then you are looking at finding the ditch.....:banghead:

I'll be looking for a set of original 18" BE rotors or the older BE RS4 style titanium coloured wheels towards the end of the year fella. I'll be trading my 19" BBS Black Editions against them. What sort of time frame were you thinking and would my wheels be of interest? Maybe take it to PM if you want? Just a thought.

It would be end of year, start next, so probably worth putting on the back burner, but I'd be keen to know I've a set agreed. If you're keen also, then gimme a shout on PM, no worries. :icon_thumright:
