just rang audi out of curiosity to see if my car has had the injector recall done and they said it needs to be inspected so going in next tuesday , just wandered as its remapped and dpf filter deleted will they still check and replace injectors if needed.

cheers dav

With a remap alone it will probably depend if the guy who inspects it does any checks on the ECU. They can tell if it's been altered which technically can invalidate your warranty so it's hit and miss. If the DPF has been removed then it's one more think they can pick up on and another excuse they can use to not pay for new injectors if necessary. I've read threads with people being refused work under warranty for not having FMDSH, but also read threads where people have modded cars and have no dealer SH and still get work done under warranty...

Best thing to do it keep schtum and see what they say... you never know you can may not be affected by the recall

cheers guys yes its not a warranty job its a recall for possible defective parts .

Is this for a 2.0 TDI? Just a heads up, there's a new ECU update thats meant to be applied when the injectors are done although a lot of dealers aren't aware of it so you may be alright.
