I dont judge a company by how they perform when things go well but rather on the customer service when things go wrong, and they went wrong big time when the swirl valve entered the cylinder chambers and lunched the engine :(

But Audi and my dealership have bent over backwards to make things right, from getting me a new car and allowing me to spec the options that where missing from mine (dealer demo) sourcing me an S3 DSG as a loan car due to me not being into luxury oil burning barges to lending me an R8 spyder for 5 days and letting me take it to the lake district. Just a shame I have to give the amazin thing back.

The service I have recieved has been beyond first class, Well done to everyone involved, many many companies could learn from Audi.

Now lets just hope my cars the right colour and has the right options :p

Dave

So when's the new one due, Dave?

Excellent, I had a similar experience when Audi rejected my first order :)

Good to hear some good dealer reviews.... The experience I have had with my dealer has always been first class.

Wasn't sure the red/black rims would suit an ibis.. But I think that looks rreally nice mate  kinda sets it apart from the "pack"

My last few cars have always been resale silver as thats what the sales people push you into getting and i do not like it

Having grown up with the whale tail cossie, RS200, rally quattros, rally celica's, senna and prosts mclaren etc all being white I have a real thing for white cars

so i got what i wanted and stuff the resale, the car really is quite striking, it has huge presence in the metal to me anyway

Dave, slightly off topic, but that Ibis RS3 sat on Walton Audi's forecourt is your old one? I was gonna try and test drive it this afternoon - do you know any details about what they did to get it back on the road? Brand new engine?

It is my old car, I would hope its had a new engine (i have just asked by email) .

I babied it, never went on turbo boost until the oil temp was at least 80c and always cooled down (not that you can drive anywhere near 70% on UK roads as there so damn fast lol)

The thing with Audi approved cars is you get a 30 day exchange policy

All the checks and double-checks should give you real reassurance. And even further still, Audi operates a 30 day exchange policy - so in the unlikely event of an irreparable fault occurring within 30 days/1,000 miles (whichever occurs sooner) – we will offer you an exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Its going to be one of the cheapest RS3s about I think.

They also have a brand new black one, unregistered for 41,700, shame black is such a PITA to keep clean

Its got a brand new engine, so effectively its now a new car.
