Has anyone bought a "cheapy" armrest ??

I just cant justify at the min paying the silly amount for OEM from Audi.

So has anyone bought something similar to the above?
How does it line up/fit good?

Any help is appreciated.


Also a silly question but in the OEM one does it cover the fatter blank pocket towards the rear in the centre console?
I use this for my phone lol

Save your money and put it towards a used OEM one, they do come up for sensible money you just need to be patient

Personally a non oem one would put me off... Keep an eye on eBay or breakers they pop up quite a lot

I bought one similar to this and it snapped off after around 6 months of use. The problem with this type is the fixing design.....just not strong enough.
I replaced it with an exact copy of the OEM version which has the metal bracket fitting to the existing mounts etc. I think it was around £55, feels solid and like it is factory fitted. Can't remember the seller but it was off e-bay.

That looks like the one I've got but with cloth instead of leather. Good quality if it's the same seller.

I got a genuine one in excellent condition for £40 delivered from ebay... you just have to be patient and keep your eye on it regularly.

I had mine from eBay from a B6 to put on my B7. Keep an eye out mine was £50.
