Im up for this... don't plan on tracking yet. Do i have to register or just turn up on the day?
 
Hmmm, brands is 20 mins from me. Wouldnt be running the S3 on track but tempted to pop along for a look around.

Would take my M3 on track though if it was allowed!

I'm also happy to take passengers out and will bring along my spare helmet so you don't need to hire one. As Prawn says, you may have to pay a few quid for a wrist band but it's worth it if you've never been on track before.

The Cordy won't be as fast as Prawn's A3 but you'll still have a fun experience.

So not only is this an awesome day but they will be capturing your track experience from all over the track,Pits and starting grid,they will be in the garages meeting and clicking and really getting up close and taking some awesome images.


They're extremely experienced in track photography and you will be able to contact them after the day to view and order your images

Drivebyshooters will be around for the whole day on and off the track
Covering all areas of the event

It's great news as they're work is fantastic

Hey everyone...finally back in the office! Hope you all had a nice long weekend.

Update on the numbers: COV - 8, ASN - 6, SSS - 3

I need to start taking some extra bookings so I can make up the groups of ten and put the payments through with the discounts. I'm around until 5.00pm today, so just give me a call on 0843 453 3000. Remember to let me know if you want any additional drivers/passengers/instructor sessions.

Additional passengers are just £10, but as mentioned you won't need to pay this if you have already paid to be a driver.

Just a reminder...The Ultimate VAG Trackday is suitable for drivers of all skill and confidence levels. Being an Open Pit Lane, there will be a range of VW/Audi Group cars on track but with one-to-one Instructor sessions and extra safety briefings available on the day, you'll have plenty of opportunities to get up to speed!
 
Question for those who do trackday on a regular basis. As this is my second,but first in my car,how do you know when your oil temps is too high?also, how many laps do people do at a time.I would have thought constant laps wouldn't be good for a road car?correct me if I'm wrong

30/40 mins away from me, so I may have to pop along to have a look at what's happening :)

Got to many things I still need to do before I'll be entering my first track day with my motor

Don't worry Marty, you'll probably cook your brakes before you cook your oil ! :D

On a serious note though, I imagine after 15 minutes both you, and the car will probably need a rest.
 
Lol can't blame me though,after reading the horror stories how you boiled your pas fluid got me worried lol. Motul brake fluid is on the list bro :)
 
Hi ya Chaps !

Im still saving for parts and repairs so wouldnt even start to think of bring my car to take around the track but would love to come and spectate and meet a few of you lads and your cars , ive only been a A3 owner for a few months and only a member of ASN for the same and not meet any of you guy's and would quiet like to . Are spectators allow and are there tickets on sale for us if any of us lads and ladys wanted to pop along . Would be nice to meet a few of you and see ya set up's as im a newbie and have a standard 1.8T sport fully loaded thats crying out for mod's. :yahoo: Not that far from Brands Hatch either !
 
People on here are always up for meeting new members! These meets are the best place, although saying that I have been ace a few times and yet to spot Aaron! Where do you keep hiding?! Being 15mins from brands I will defo be there to spectate...

You can still enter into the show N shine as well!
 
yer, seems like theres as many people going round the track as there is going to be watching, im a spectator, and brining a camera so id be glad to meet some members to match username to faces
im driving a redish a4 tqs
 
Sweet Nice One Jay N Prawn I will defo pop up not sure if she's good enough for show n shine unless she gets a machine polish and my door card handles sorted by then. I will bring my brother **** hot camera if he lets me borrow it should take some **** hot pic's as he's does photography ! :yahoo: All excited now Lol !

right my brother should be coming and im gunna get him to bring both cameras so i should be able to get some good pictures of you guys around the track its a pretty good camera from what i can tell so should be able to get some wicked shots.

Yeah no worries dude i will take as many as poss for everyone be nice to have something to remember your day and alway nice to have good pictures of your car. not sure sure what he has got but both have silly lens and mental zoom and 1080p etc.... they should take so cool pictures of your cars going around the track.
 
Mark - can I double check it's free for show attendees who just want to watch?

I've put a post up on SeatCupra.net and it's getting some interest.
 
yes, been many a times before. its free to watch track days and practice days on events such as super bikes, touring cars etc

theres a barrier but they let you though, of course you cant get on track with out a pass any way so they know theres no chance of you sneeking in, you drive down behind the grand stands then past the paddock shop. then do a sharp right then go under the track though a tunnel, (which is awsome for sound btw lol) then you appear up behind the garages/paddocks so your on the fences of cooper straight between graham hill and surtees.
but last time i was there on a track day, as long as the pits are free of cars, and your over 18, you can stand on the pit wall and belive me when theres some big turbo'd cars going full speed full throttle past there its quite amazing! and back to cooper straight its cool to see people passing etc up to surtees and up round mclaren corner
 
Right lads we rreally need to get the numbers up
this is not a day of aggressive racing, its a day where we can all have some fun meet some ace ppl and enjoy the awesome brands hatch track
if you're interested in participating we need you to get on the phone to mark and register yor details
if we can nail this lads we can make a yearly event out of this and even expand on it

hopefully i should get my exhaust by brands, love it when i go there the tunnel is awsome, could drive back and forth though it lol think i might get chucked off site!

Shall be there to watch, if not to take part money is tight at the moment tho, with a ring trip for early that month already. Wheh does it have to be booked by?
