Does anyone know if it is possible to do a conversion from the 8l facelift (my2001) to the 8p dashboard, centre console etc. Having a look around it would appear that there was an 8p interior fitted to the 8l facelift in 2003, however there does not appear to be a guide or any photos of it being retrofitted in any of the forums.

I doubt there will be any guides as its not something that anyone would really consider undertaking...

Good luck though :)

Iv only ever seen the mk1 TT dash done. Would be a nice conversion if you can pull it off.

The Mk1 TT dash pic is in "post pics of A3/S3" Thread looks mean as hell :) will have a look at on what page and let you know, Cheers

Yeah i must say, the TT dash does look rather well in there. I may have to look into doing this myself :)

It's also got the 8p style climate panel fitted, would it just be a case of plug and play or is there some serious vag com work required?

Cheers pal. Looks rather well :)

no worries dude, yeah it looks awesome. PM JO£ see what's needed. im sure he mentions a fair amount of cutting/shoe horning and changing over the looms.

Is that not just the standard Mk1 dash?? I'm sure it is.

Think that's because his is an A3 as opposed to the S3, which features electric/heated seats etc. Will probably require a hybrid S3/TT loom though. Will pm him.

ye I agree, should of scrolled down eh lol, the others stated bare dash in the ad description this one did'nt..

Wonder how the TT clocks/dials work in the S3?

Would you not need the ecu to match the immobiliser etc in the clocks? Or do we think its all within the wiring that lets them work with the S3?

**awaiting further info from JO£**
