Hi Guys,

This morning while driving it to work all seemed normal, I went round a sharp bend and noticed the revs drop right off.. Car didnt stall just would let me put any power down?? Then uphill in the multistorey it did the same thing, just cut the revs right down for a couple of seconds leaving me nearly rolling back down the ramp.... and then all fine again?? Anyone know what this might be? No lights nothing not stalling seemed like limp mode from what I have read here?

Going to get it scanned later hopefully but wondered if anyone else knows what it might be? Could be related buy my brake lights keep staying on when the car is stationary and turned off... think it needs a new switch.. would this put the car into limp mode?

Cheers

on my a6 if i tap the brakes when the throttle is pressed it cuts the engine unless i press the throttle again......
perhaps the faulty switch is causing similar reaction and the slight slopes are enough to make the switch work...

The switch I think, just spoke to my vag guy who said that the switch will cut off the throttle pedal, so looks like its a new switch for the money pit motor :-(

Fixed and perfect it was the switch!
