Just dropped Mark an email, definitely up for this. Good work boys!

1. Prawn + Bigal - A3 track car
2. Frenchman - A3 turbo
3. Paradox - Golf GTi
4. jcs356 (Jason) - Cordoba SX 16v track car
5. Piester - S3 hybrid

Welcome on board Piester :)

This is going very well so far, so impressed with the ASN uptake, we have more people booked on than COV or SSS at the moment, well done chaps :)

Now we just need some of the big turbo boys to come out to play!

Tufty? Welly? Pat? Andrew? Mush?

Perhaps we could even tempt Bill to bring the Ibiza out to play? (make us all look stupid!)

My cars far from track ready, and besides I've got a lardass 8p v6 anyway. But what's the deal with spectators? I wouldn't mind coming along to meet a few people and spend a few quid on the stalls.

You're welcome to come along to watch and hang out with the guys. Not sure exactlly if and how many stalls will be there...but the bar should be open! :p

I actually cant wait, gives me a bit of time to sort a few things out first.

Westy Can I borrow your turbo?? I'll give it back after the track day.....

Rather than take a guess, I'll drop Mark a PM on facebook now and ask him to come and reply :)

Be good to see you here though dude, I'm going to go and post this in the 8P section in a minute!

What a fail, in the time I had that reply open Marks been and gone!

Nice one Aaron :)

Haha, there is a plus side to being able to use forums whilst I'm working!

No need to worry about the Turbo Paradox, I might take my bog standard 1.6 S Golf round for a session, haha!

If I can get out of what I'm supposed to be doing that day I'll bring the mk2 down ;)

None of these boys have finished cars except Welly and he has plastic tyres and cheese brakes so you dont want him there :moa:

Bill's probably still repairing the fire damage on his.

I've technically got a running mapped big turbo'd car with chassis and brakes for track but think my turbo setup will be melting by the time I've done a couple of laps :(

Whatever it was, call the people involved, and tell them that Prawn just cancelled it.

Simples!

Lol it's a weekend long thing, so it's not quite that simple but I'll try and work some magic.

The old golf handles so well it would be a shame not to! That is of course if I don't bin it at Prescott hill the week before ;)

RUDE!!!!

First time on ASN in ages due to my HUGE workload.... and I find this....

I hate you Fred!

Lursh!

Its a thing called retro rides in August, looked pretty fun last year, and you can do run what you brung type thing up the hill, so that'll be the golf then :)

Lol give it a good kicking up the hill. Went there for a Bugatti weekend a few years ago watching the hill climb. Looks pretty awesome to drive. Watching the JPS F1 car fire up the hill was epic. Infact here it is lol BBC - Gloucestershire - Places - When Classic Cars came to the Cotswolds

I went to the same thing last year, there was an Indy car that time that was pretty epic, just needed to be a bit more up to date to get my interest, hence why I'm going to this in August. Also the gf reckons she can get up the hill quicker in her old fiesta, that's not happening... Even if bill has to put a 1.8t in it, it's not happening lol.

Anyhoo back on topic.... ;)

Do you Cheltenham boys insist on spamming EVERY thread :angrymod:

This is about the Ultimate Vag trackday. I suggest you both sign up to it, then you can continue this coffee morning in the paddock!

ok mark, that make me feel a little better lol

You'll do fine Marty, trackdays aren't about racing other people, they're about having great fun, bettering yourself, and enjoying your cars full capabilities in a safe and legal environment :)

This is it. Most tracks don't tolerate racing anyway, and if the marshalls think your driving dangerously you'll be warned.

Go and have a great day, learn the limits of your car, and think of me sat at a 65 year olds birthday party :(

Whaaaaaaaaaat, a sudden surge! No fair.

Looks like an 8L run-away at the moment. Any of the A4 / TT crew interested?

Lol...a few guys have phoned saying they just thought they only needed to put their name down. I will need to take the payment details too, but the payments won't actually be put through until we've hit the ten driver mark. This just ensures I can add the club discount :)

Definitely be up for this, trying to book on but no answer. Only live round the corner from brands.

at a guess I'd say Mark might not work Saturdays :( Lucky git. haha. I'd try him on Monday morning :) Good to have you on board matey :)

Count me in guys. I should be running a pretty decent amount of power out of my 1.8t by then too. I would like some track time and to attend the show and shine. ;)

Awesome mate see you there
mark will be available on Monday morning
Give him a call and get registered

So that's 8 from COV, 8 from ASN, 2 from SSS already I believe, so we're almost up to 20 cars :)

Going to be an amazing day, if anyone wants passenger rides during the day I'm more than happy to take people out for a few laps, Brands lends itself well to swapping Pax as it's such a short circuit, can nip out for 4 laps and only be gone 5 minutes, so loads of time to take anyone out for a spin :)

Likewise there's a few cars going I'll definitely want a ride in myself!!!

Perhaps Mark could advise us if there's a cost to sign on a passenger? Other drivers won't pay a penny of course, but often there's a £10 charge or similar to be a pax for a day.

im not going out on track, although id love to, id rather replace things as they break rather then make them break, and knowing my luck with cars itll be the enigne or turbo lol.

any way ill be there, plus ill see if i can get a a3 1.8t to come along. but depends

any way ill be up for passenger ride. i have a helmet i can use so happily pay £10 to get a ride in a quick 1.8t!

shame i dont have the spare cash to spend on such a day maybe next time round, and id rather not say yes and book then let you guys down.

and as its 5 miles up the road its not far

That's cool man, the more the merrier, even if you're just coming along to watch and steal pax rides!

yer, thing is like i say id love to but, high wear and tear + fuel + brakes + tyres + track fee adds up and im not a rich man so ill just watch and feel sad. lol

i have a pretty decent camera. not dslr/slr but none the less takes awesome pictures,
ill get some pictures and videos etc, get it on a public photobucket account free for any one to look and or save for them selfs.
