2.0 tdi accelerate problem

Hi,

The car runs fine when cruising along but when I accelerate there is a slight pause and stutter before it actualy accelerates. it also does it on cruise control when you lift the stalk. It's had a new egr about 5k ago as well as 4 injectors and loom on recall about a year ago.

I've started by putting in a new fuel filter but it's made no difference.

Any ideas where to look for a diy attempt at resolving this ?

Sounds like there maybe a hole in a hose possibly the one leading from the EGR.

no - slightly uneven tickover now and then but other times its fine. Going to put some millers injector cleaner through this weekend and see if it makes any difference.

Assuming its manual could it not be transmission ie clutch & dmf rather than engine as it only does while on the move?
Im no expert but thinking it through logically having read all the past threads on forums like this?

I guess it probably does - I'll have a look next time I'm out but it is definately just as I'm accelerating

I have the very same problem and yes thats when it happens, so annoying
