What did you and your 8p do today? :)

Today I gave my car some much needed tlc. Drove to the garage and used the jetwash. Then home for a loving 2 bucket wash, and a couple of coats of jetseal 109 with the DA. It was far too hot for waxing. Then I put her new shoes on.

now she looks beautiful again.

Now its more apparent that she needs lowering.

Thanks mate. The girlfriend is well against the lowering idea, but then again she hates the wheels too! I doubt she'd notice 20-30mm anyway. I miss my snowfoam, ****** hosepipe ban.

I think those wheels may well have made it on my top 3 wheels. BBS CK's, Rotors and whatever they are!?

After a 3 day break in Dorset and no time for a proper wash 'an brush up, so in the cool of a 7am morning ( already 18 degrees !! ) just cleaned the windows, brushed the dust off the hood, and then a delightful al-fresco bumble on traffic free roads to attend my duties as a volunteer guide on a heritage steam railway.
A slightly more sprightly return home to catch the last few laps of the Monaco Grand Prix.

My day involved jetwashing most of Malverns population of cars (8hrs straight).

then it was off to the mother in laws to change her anti roll bar drop links on her 306 for her MOT on tuesday. Offside was a doddle, the near side....for some reason didn't have the flat edges for the spanner to grab the other side!! so...try undoing a 17 year old nylock whilst using massive pliers to hold onto the ball end and spannering the other side...hands are all ****** and arms hurt. Had him off in the end... all this for love???? 11hr day. nap time probably.

Dropped into the VAG fest at Biggar (wasnt that good - camper vans mainly) and then took the car for a wee drive to run her in so that I can remap her tomorrow. Weather being glorious as it was it was nice just to doodle and chill.

Just back from a wee doodle over the A701 to Moffat. Came back and swapped the interior lighting to the LED's......washed the minefield of flies and bugs off the front of the car and voila.....all is sweet. Now its time for a spot of UV soak.

Gave my newly fitted hybrid a lil test :eyebrows:

3sdm 0.01s only a small company I think, but for the price they're outstanding.

These guys have 2 epic sets of wheels tbf to them, the 0.01's I think a member here called gryphon or something like that runs... I was thinking VWR for my next set of wheels but I like 3SDM's attitude and those 0.01's are tidy. The prices are excellent if the quality is as good as people seem to think online.

The lads at revolution motorsport told me they are part of dare wheels and they developed the Dare NK1 to the 3SDM 0.01 which is wider for the BMW's with the massive rear tyres.

i have the matte black ones on my car and i love them

have you seen the 3SDM gallery its well worth a look ;)

Fitted the chrome DSG pedals I've had in my boot for over a month!:Flush:

They look really nice though! :) Need the footrest to complete the job now.

Shame there isn't a straight option for the foot rest out there :(

I straight option ? do you care to elaborate on this ? Unless you mean no OEM Option ....lol

OEM is only LHD, all the aftermarket ones look abit :ninja:

Kerbed a wheel, fixed my LCR splitter as it got ripped off, spent 9 hours in A&E.

BEST 24 HOURS EVER

Went to the Mercedes garage to look at the new a class.
Byebye 8p very soon.

Yesterday to be honest .....drove to mates house in outer London suburb and exchanged Audi for Aston Martin DB4. Parked up in the grand avenue of the Park with other Astons and other invited BRITISH classics + some foreign Ferrari things. Then ticket only entry to Concours of Elegance within castle itself to view some of the worlds most expensive rare and luxurious cars, many flown in for the occasion from museums in Europe and the USA. A VERY class act - think Pebble Beach concours for those of you who know about such matters of the classic car world.
Aston VERY hot noisy and uncomfortable to passenger in but it gets more admiring looks than modern flash posh Chav tinware. But was glad of the Audi comfort and fresh air during my hours drive home late evening, invisible though the car is.

Mine has stayed tucked up in its garage today, washed it yesterday, dont have the heart for it to get dirty again after i worked so hard on it.

aaaahhhh fack it. I'm off to make some noise.... :undwech:

Yesteday I fitted LED lights to the interior, glove box and boot as well as above the rear number plate thanks to Trups. Now I can't wait for it to go dark at 4pm!

P.S Trups' customer service is the best I have ever experienced. LEDs ain't half bad either :sm4:
