Didn't realise the ARB bushes could be done without dropping the subframe. Might have to order some wishbones and bushes and do it all in one hit...

Yeah mate **** easy just undo the link bar to release tension and change them over :)

Today was to take the car out for a good drive a few country roads and motor way and I'm very happy with springs bushes I have changed the car feels so much tighter and a very nice ride happy days gonna calm down now for a couple of months then go on a hunt for a 3" down pipe and fmic :) all she needs is a good clean now :blackrs4:

great work as always dre!
the springs may settle a little height wise, maybe another 5mm or so.
i think you should get some spacers on there to complete it.

Great work bro. I I like how you "haven't" done much lol. Looking sweeet i must add How's the ride comfort?

cheers mate to tell the truth the offset of my bbs chs makes it so i don't really need spacers maybe 10mm on the back but the fronts are perfect :)

Was for me indeed, but coming out of that shifty looking merc and wrapped under Tam's favourite dress, i suppose it could have been anything..

This part number supposed to be for an LCR? Because thats just a generic topmount for all MK4 platform models..The LCR is model specific and has a Seat only part number.

IMGP4897.jpg

The LCR top mounts are a harder rubber than the normal ones hence everyone buying them to replace the standard ones. Where ever youve bought them has given you normal Leon mounts not cupra R most probably.

Ok mate thanks for letting me know not going through the mission in changing them again, they did seem harder then originals but they do the job and better then the the 11 year old ones that were on there and by looking at them they do look like lcr top mounts

This is the item number on eBay 330438822785

So that number om them are lcr top mounts?

They arent no they're normal golf/bora/beetle/Leon/a3 mounts putting that number into etka at work.

No as they're seat specific so sadly I can't look them up (my ETKA is vw/Audi only). A quick google search would bring them up I'm sure. I can get them in from TPS and so on but when I go through them my margins are slashed massively compared to stuff I order direct from Audi/vw.

manage to get some air con cleaner that cleans all the vents airways from all mould and the stinky smell that i have been getting for a few weeks now :puke: i changed the pollen filter a few weeks back and the smell was not as bad but still there so gave this ago today and has done the job nicely no more damp dog smell :)

IMGP4995.jpg
