S3 owners... has anyone ever replaced ....

The front plastic trim in the engine bay. Like a front scuttle panel above the headlights.

Years of people resting tools and god knows what else has left mine looking tatty, scuffed and scratched. It spoils what is essentially a very clean looking engine bay.

can anyone furnish me with a part number / price?

if its the bit I think you mean then is the whole of the front of the car... its a one piece panel... will have the radiators etc attached to it...

I think that plastic trim is part of the entire front end that is moulded for the fans and other bits to bolt too. I'm trying to remember back to when I removed my engine through the front and I'm sure it was 1 big plastic moulding. Shouldn't think it'll be cheap.
