Autotech or APR HPFP

Which is better..


Going to buy one or the other but dnt know what the difference and outcomes are...


Any keen petrol/speed heads want to input their knowledge.

Haven't heard anything bad about either to be honest mate. I think Autotech is more commonly used though (I stand by to be corrected on this)
 
yep. autotech seems to be the most popular.

Dont think there's alot of difference in any of them.

W8 performance do group buys on these sometimes. get in touch with them.
 
The Autotech option is the internals and you fit them yourself and they are £290 delivered at the moment.

The APR option is a ready built and tested unit so just a swap over, the only downside is that they are £650 ish.

If the internals are fitted correctly then there should be no issues at all.

I run Autotech with no probs at all. Just keep an eye on your CF.
 
They can get a bit smelly
 
If the HPFP is going to cause any damage to the car then i will not consider it as its the last thing i want...

Just pulling your leg mate. The HPFP can increase wear on the CF. But as long as you check it every 5000 miles (5 min job). You'll be fine :)

hahaha no worries mate, Just that my previous car wasnt the best for mods and dnt want to get any problems with this one. How to i check it? can these be uprated?

Still looking at a few car for the time wasting, but deep down No. going to mod the car to my liking and then i will consider it mate.
