help please whats this dash sign could it be a doggy MAF

Had this sign pop up with my esp sign but that's gone of now and this one has stayed on
i had my MAF of while i sorted my TIP i put it back and forgot to connect the MAF but then relised before i drove off and connected it i have relised on my boost gauge that im only boosting to 8 psi to can this be a doggy MAF or can it be my boost gauge playing with the electrics only fitted it yesterday im puzzled

did you start it up with the airmass unplugged?
probably just need the fault codes deleting.
esp light would have come on cus the esp needs the engine load signal (partly calculated using the airmass signal) to work. now its plugged back in it will go off on turning the ignition off and back on. will still have an intermittent fault registered in the abs/esp for it even if the light is off. best to clear that too.
but the airmass being unplugged for a time will have registered a fault code in the engine ecu until its deleted.

Check the VCDS section and see if any members are local to you,who can let you clear the faults in exchange for beer/whatever

apart from the obvious vagcom purchace, or finding a forum member with vagcom local to you, willing to help.....

these are good and very handy for resetting codes and service lights, tho you cant view actual data/values and reset throttle bodies.
