Hello all.. Owned the car for about 4-5 weeks, loving it 100% at the minute and im sure it will only get better. A few things i have done since owning it,

Ive got a boost gauge to fit, service due next week.. Next will be wheels as my tyres are nearly dead so may be time to upgrade

hey, looks cool, there is a yellow s3 that parks near me most days, his wheels need some TLC though! Had it re mapped yet? any future plans?

ooops, forgot to say, is there a national tyres near you? If not, get down to newton abbot as you'll get Oil, New filter and labour for £42 inc VAT, they use castrol edge too, the deal to be had here is the fact that in most places, the shelf price of just the oil alone is £50 - £60! Bargain!

Thanks dude... Im gonna get a full service inc plugs and having my thermostat done etc, regarding a remap, itbhad one done at superchips, wiltshire in 07 but i dont know if it feels right, not having one to compare to etc..but will get it on vagcom etc as there is hesitation

All booked in for my full service, inc gbox oil change, dog leg bush change.. Got the red powerflex... Thermostat change, hopefully that will sort the temperature issue out..

Mate if you fitted the fmic yourself then id service it your self, you obviously know how to use a spanner, just my 2 pence.

Haha i have no issues doing anything mechanical, its just the vehicle has fsh and want to keep it that way tbh,

Kev, welcome to AS-N and good to see another Plymouth S3 on here. I've got a Superchips remap myself and love it, nice smooth and great power delivery. If you need it scanning with VAG-COM anytime give us a shout.

Just picked her up from the garage, full service, inc gbox oil, powerflex dog leg mount bushes replaced (red) thermostat replaced, car feels 10x smoother, both through the revs and the notchy gear changes have gone
