i, like yourself, went for the concrete post option too!
it does not matter how well they say the fence posts are treated and stuff, THEY WILL ROT! eventually mate!, its a fact! then snap.
concrete though, thats the shizzle!
built to last, and will probably outlive you mate!

I also went with the gravel boards and concrete posts, while they will last, that type of fence panel is terrible....it looks great for a year or so then they warp and fall to bits (and yes i treated them)it is a very windy spot where i live... i now have a huge cost of replacing fkn 32 6ft panels, and at £56 each it makes me sad... I have designed a stainless topping for them to stop them blowing out but its too late for mine...

What you need is a fence like mine overlap design FTW! We get loads of wind where we are, we're well high and it doesn't budge an inch.

Who cares if they rot in 10 years, i'll be long gone.

Fence looks great jo. And it was a bit quicker than mine, it took me about 2 weeks

them are treated solid 6inch fence boards from maxwells! been up a year and going strong!
they let the wind pass between them and dont act like a big "wing" like panels do!

My car is in the garage, it made it there in one piece, yay!! So I'm well chuffed with that. Hopefully now it won't cost £3 million to fix it.

I went for concrete posts not just for longivity, I wanted concrete gravel boards, as my house was built on a slope, and the neighbours was getting loads on my garden going into theirs from the rotted wooden gravel boards. I had the same problem from my other neighbours on the otherside previously, but they concrete posted it a few years back!

you still have to pay your telly licence just for owning a telly scott! using it! or not, streaming off the web or elsewhere i believe!

As long as I don't watch live tv it's ok.

I can only watch BBC iPlayer and such.
