Got round to fitting my new JOM coilovers from DPM, had a slight issue with the rear adjustable perch damaged in transit, but the lads at DPM provided me with a replacement part.

Early saturday morning, I set off down to my mates unit to use his ramps and air tools, making the job hell of a lot easier!

Anyways, here is a few pics of the progress

Left the centre caps of because the wheels would be coming off when I got the car to my house,

To be honest im thinking about raising the front abit it might be a tad too low on the front, seams to have settled quite a bit more in the last few days, so its a bit lower now than in these photos lol.

Also think a slight bit of trimming of the inner arches is required, get a bit of scraping with people in the back, but thats all for some fine tuning this week, if the weather holds up!

Comments welcome lads,

Stunning mate but agree maybe raise the front a touch just to level the stance out !!

Cheers mate :)

Yep that's this week's plan, surprising how much it settled on front!

+1 on the front height, but loving the Bentley wheels and the drop!

Cheers lad, yeah really sets the car off now, well happy with it rides really well, should be even better once the fronts up abit :)

Would you say the ride has improved overall even with the increased drop compared to the standard S-line suspension??

The ride is very good, feels nice and solid but not too harsh.

Manages well on the bumpier roads round were I live so all in all its going well, scrapes a bit on the rear with people in so need to look at the inner arch liners then a can give it some stick and get a real feel for the new handling potential

Stance looks great on those rimz mate. Maybe lower the back to match the front instead of the other way round :)

cheers lad, yeah would be nice but its my daily driver so im more thinking about the state of the shocking roads in south yorkshire tbh mate lol

As Rich said i'd leave it mate. Looks lovely  Thought about doing your wing mirrors the same colour as your alloys?

That suspension looks identical to my ap kit, I love it though, your wheels look sweet, I wouldn't change a think there mate, looks mint

Cheers lad, am well happy with the out come, if I dont raise the front I think ill just have to do something about the one sh*t guard bolt that it rubs on.

taa :) might leave it see how I get on now lol, a was thinking about the chrome caps to tie in with everything else. Car mod's are on hold for a while till I get back from magaluf :)

I reckon you go the whole hog and get RS4 mirrors. They look so aggressive and will tie in. haha dont blame you mate, enjoy magaluf when you go :)

How do you find the ride compared to the stock suspension? I want to lower my SE but can't just get lowering springs because my shocks have covered too much mileage

That looks amazing and my favourite colour.

I would look at the JOMs as a short term fix however. I had them on my golf tdi they didnt last long. Save up for a quality pair for next year?

Thanks for all the positive comments lads, lifted the car yesterday and removed the arch liner bolt on the front wings and tucked the arch liner back in place that stopped the scraping, ideally the front needs to go up a few mm not much to notice tho, trimmed out the rear arch liners so everything is running mint :D

The rs4 mirrors are mint but rare as owt, only seen one pair on ebay in like for ever and they went for silly money
Ah yeh magaluf is gerrin smashed lol :)

Cheers pal, yeh the JOM's are running sweet, took the country lane way home last night and it was so much fun!

Im running 235's but when these wear out ill probs go for 225 or 215

looks lovely mate, they wound right down at the back? mine havent got the adjusters in at min but considering putting them in at weekend

Both front struts leaked after about 6 months. It could have been a one off.

Any reason why your changing to the other sizes? Glad to hear the Joms are decent, I was looking at APs but these look spot on for the price!
