Audi a3 help

Sounds like a slave cylinder fault. Mine was leaking and I had the same symptoms. New slave cylinder, clutch, dual mass flywheel, master cylinder and £1000 later I had my car back on the road.
Well hope it's not that serious :(

Nope, I think you'll just need the slave cylinder - but get it bled first!!!!

You have the new clutch already....

Will this work

Doubt it, it's from an 8l and yours is an 8p. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong!

Hi went to garage today been told its a problem with the hydrolic of the clutch bearing ??

The bearing is a concentric slave cylinder design.. Is there any irregular noises? Try putting your foot down on the top inch or so of the pedal? Any irregular noises then? Any change in pitch when the clutch pedal is depressed fully etc?

Entirely possible it needed a clutch and dual mass flywheel but they've whacked a clutch in and decided to sell it as is.

Master cylinder is a fairly easy job, some people remove the pedal box etc but it's not always necessary - slave cylinder if required is normally inside the gearbox bellhousing, going over the input shaft. The gearbox would need to be removed to replace this part.
