throttle body pipe has popped off and I got no tools to take my bumper off...
someone is on their way now to help. Worse thing is I'm ****** starving!
 
Believe me mate I have learnt my lesson. Always east before I breakdown... Failing that - have food in the car!
I will need to Heya small tool kit for emergencies
 
Problem will be sorted by the morning... Just more money!

Just got back from a meal out with the in laws to celebrate Laura's grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. Was a good night.

My car seems to have developed a whirring noise from the cam belt area though :( I'll be ringing mr mechanic tomorrow as we are going to centre parcs soon so need it doing. Any ideas?

has the choke ball / gag fallen out of your misses mouth? When does the whirring noise happen? Maybe a split cv boot?
 
All the time, hard to say if it gets quieter at higher revs as engine is too tractor like :)

Steering doesn't change it, neither does the clutch. It definitely sounds like it comes from the cambelt area (which I had changed 2 weeks ago). I did a google and read about a tensioner/idler? The tensioner was changed so it shouldn't be a ceasing one. I bet none of that sentence even makes sense ha.
 
Morning all!

Unlucky with the motors lads, atleast yours is an easy fix jay, you need to get some good clamps. And crazy i would say air con pully may have something to do with it.

So 3 days off anyone got good plans? I plan on making the most of it.(drinking)

1st im off to solihull to get some euros for manorca in 2weeks, then i think due to the nice weather a beer garden and some pub grub is in need of.

Then ill see if i make it out the pub to do anything productive like have a curry and a fight :)

Went to Russia once, (my brother married one) and its the norm to have a fight after a meal in a restaurant,,, you have your meal get up and smack some fooker, then all the place kicks off for about 5 mins...then everybody shakes hands and goes on there way....:) my bro said your not supposed to pick the biggest cnt in there dave....ha ha... (nearly pulled my spine out the cnt);)

Arsenal are a bunch of useless ****s, ****ing appalling! Norwich played really well and had a go which most away teams don't bother.

Arsenal done deserve to play in the champions league if they're going to play like they the ****ing ****er ****s.
 
Sad to say the beer garden never happend, it looked nice from my bedroom window but was freezing outside :(

Iv got my euros and had the afternoon tinkering, iv cleaned my throttle body and attempted to fit it at a 90 degree angle but the wireing is abit too tight.

Also when topping up powersteering fluid should the fluid be jetting like a guizer with the cap off? Ha

Never mind the curry can wait, think i may go for a cruise tonight since my pal bought an sline A4 a few months ago and iv been telling him that id smash the granny out of his oil burner lol

Car is back up and running... scared to push it too much now incase i end up on the lay by again...
Need to get in touch with someone who can do alloy fabrication....

No plans tonight.. misses is working at the takeaway tonight so free dinner for me! :icon_thumright:

jay have chicken and sweetcorn soup, prawn toast, chicken and egg foo young and chips with fried rice and carton of curry sauce mate! always a nice one!
and as long as them jubilee clips are tight on your intercooler hoses, just floor it dude!
 
Ha chez thats abit of a precise meal, iv just had a texas bbq chicken pizza, curley fries, and 4 bbq chicken legs! Washed down with some bud66 quite nice beer tbf.

I just saw those chealsy w*nkers celebrating, and nearly vomited, is it just me or is john terry turning into del boy and frank lampost looks like his had botox.

I hate them all, especially Cole. Not only was he a tit about the way he left Arsenal but he blew it with one of the fittest birds ever!

Oh by the way, my drinking at 11am has caught up with me and I;m now very tired. Watching the snooker isn't helping either :lazy:
