Its something I've been toying with and slowly gather parts.
The parts finally came together last night (Thanks Byzan) and I set about cutting bits and see how they fit.

First, some spare handles and illumination parts.

All the other steps was put on hold, I tea was ready and it was dark by the time I was ready to go out and fit.
I'm busy for the rest of this week, I'll finish this off next week.
Theses are only test handle, which is a good thing cause I made the hole in the passenger handle a bit big.
It will still work, I just need to glue the light unit in.

The other thing I have not checked out or looked at is if there is any thing in the way on the door.
Any one got a spare door card that they can take a pic of to show me whats behind the handles?
any plastic or strengthen bits that might need cutting to get theses to fit?

where did the light parts come from?

looks interesting keeping an eye on this post

2 weeks later and I finally fitted them.

The weather has been awful but saturday had little enough rain for me to get out there and do it.

No pictures cause I got carried away and forgot, plus it would have looked like the ones at the top.

I did do a couple of things different.
I glued the light units to the back of the handle to stop them from moving around when fitting and fitted.
I wrapped the back of the light units in black wrap to help get most of the light in to the door handle but thinking on it now, I don't think it would make that much differents. It does look better on the back of the handles though.

There is 1 small issue with this kit.
Behind the handle is part of the window frame and they touch this. It is hey a very small amount, you don't even notice the door handle being forced out by the 0.5mm.
I just left it.

No pics of them working cause I kept forgetting when it was dark and the weather's been poo, so doubt I would have gone out there any way.

Soon as I've been out there at night I'll try and get some pics of them working.

Yeah that's what originally made me think it. I think i'm gonna do footwell and puddle lights next...but we'll see. I just need it to stop raining though, my garden has a swimming pool now at least :)
