Right O! Looking to do something a little different with my new car and have some ideas in the pipeline.

From what I can tell, 19x9 will fit with no issues on the rear....but that about the front?

Anyone got any pics of these size and can provide pics and details of offset?

No need for comments regarding practicality or looks.....just wanna know if its been done etc etc.:blahblah1:

Cheers

everything depends on the offset of the wheels buddy , as you would more than likely need a spacer up front to clear the strutt and a spacer on the rear for the stance , its been done loads and loads of times matey so they will 100% fit but as i said depends on the offset , what wheels are they ??

As fran said, its 100% dependant on offset and tyre choice. I have 19x9 on the rear and they are fine, pretty sure 9" on the front would be grand too

Offsets have yet to be sorted out. Kinda hoping to get some recommended offsets from you guys.

ok i'll keep looking for some 8.5 speedlines. i'm not looking to run really low. maybe just a 20mm drop.

what about 8.5j et45 on the front and 9j et41 on the rear both with 225 tyres?

Just going back to this I've managed to secure the above spec wheels but with only 1 good 225/35r19 tyre.

Am I best with the wider wheels to the front or the back? I see that RS3 can be spec'd with wider front wheels and 245 tyres. Would I be better doing something similar with my set up?

Cheers

Rob

Chwck my ride, I have 225-40-18 with et 35, 9 rims rear..

Front et35 with 9 rim is too wide.. I tried already :)

Wider wheel on the back for sure.

I'd put 225s on the 9" wheels and 215s on the 8.5s

ok cool that's what I thought. Just wondered why rs3's could have 245 as an option on the front. Thought they might be more room.
