Hey all, is there anyone around here that has one? I'm keen to do my injectors as i'm sure they are contributing to 29mpg on a run where I used to get 35mpg! I only need a cleaner for this purpose so can't really warrant buying one, it would be really good to meet some new people around here anyway as I have just moved to the area :) Thanks :)

I have one, barnstaple though, about 45mins drive... really nice drive though on a dry day. Would be willing to do them for you

Can vouch for sportquattro's helpfulness on injector cleaning ;)

Is that an open invitation sportsquattro?! :undwech:, I work in Exeter too.....

Thanks for the replies and offers everyone :) Sorting out something one evening sounds good, although I have to admit that I don't have a place where we could meet up, i'm currently at my girlfriends parents so can't really have people round to pull cars apart on the drive:haudrauf: I'm quite keen on pulsing the injectors while they clean so will be looking into setting up a circuit to achieve that. Bit of homework needed first though. Will it improve the results further?

Sportquattro, when you say seals do you mean new injector seals?

Also, sportstractor, i'll have a think about coming upp your way if we can't sort anything out in Exeter (due to the lack of my own place at the moment!) Thanks for the kind offers :)

Any ideas where it would be possible in Exeter? Any of you guys work on marsh barton?

Thanks again, next i'll be asking if anyone has a steam cleaner....:undwech:

Interesting, do you think most petrol cars over say 100k would benefit with a clean ? Did you notice (and others) a difference ?

It makes a big difference, you will be amazed at the amount of crap that comes out of them, mine I did at 105,000 miles and it took 4 sessions in the cleaner before the water remained clear, MPG Imprroved and definately felt smoother running.

Might just have a place 15mins outside Exeter, Plymouth side so convienient for sportsquattro...!!!

Yeah what sportquattro said,

I did mine like he described. I found the engine to be a lot more positive afterward, not sure how much of that was down to changing seals, as mine were previously leaking. Such an easy job to do, you may as well do it!

We're can you get the seals from as I want to do mine as soon as I get a chance.

This could come together well :):beerchug:

So when would be a good time for everyone to meet at either slowcoaches or krytons? I'm really flexible with time so whenever is good for me, I feel guilty for not being able to contribute though! I just bought an eezibleed and a haldex filter spanner if anyone wants to borrow them in return for ultrasonic cleaning or a place to remove my injectors :meeting:
