Hey guys and girls, I thought I would let you know that you can now buy a Black S3 Badge for the rear of your car from Dubstop in the US. This is a ready made badge, that requires no modding! They cost around £6 including shipping from the US. I am in no way affiliated to the company selling them, but I thought I would let you know you can buy them ready to just stick on your cars. :wub: xx

They are a bit smaller than the OEM badge on the 8P S3, think they are the same size as the one on the 8L, but they are very good quality and I recommend them highly to anyone looking to de-chrome their car. :wub: xx
 
i think il go for the wing ones, but the grill is a miss for me wont be able to fit a badge on my grill. :eyebrows:
 
Typical mine has literally just turned up today from China after waiting weeks! It's got the black square with chrome S3 which I was going to spray.....sods law that

Paula have you managed to think of any way to get the S3 badge on our RS3 grills?
 
Do you think the side badges are the same size as the OEM sline ones?

Think they'd look lush on mine along with a gloss black set of rings for the boot (which I never got round to gettin)

That IS totally typical! Will look great though, Jen! I haven't tried to put the S3 badge on mine as I quite like to keep people wondering, ..was actually thinking of taking my rear badge off too. I think Ilim has put it on his RS3 grille though, so might be worth asking him how he did it. :wub: xx

Think they'll be the same size as the OEM ones, if not, I doubt here'll be much difference in size. Will look amazing! :wub: xx
 
there has been a few up on ebay with the red colour changed to yellow and black too

A young lad who used to be my next door neighbour in Fife is selling the yellow and black ones on Ebay, they have the chrome effect border on them and once again they are smaller in size than the OEM 8P S3 badges but are decent quality (I bought one of each from him last year). :wub: xx
 
ahh didnt realise there was a size difference, i will stick to stock badges anyway my car is ninja enough, still havent seen yours around and i pop to aberdeen quite often

i spend the weekends mostly in dundee we will cross paths eventually then you can show me stage 2 :)
 
OEM S3 badge is taller as stated above. OEM badge size is best for hatch. Easy to spray black if you use an exacto knife to cut the painters tape. Smaller black S badge only looks good on wings. just my 0.02. My wing badge was a conversation piece when Audi AG came to Rector Audi for a visit last month

Just ordered the gloss black S-Line badges for the front wings & a matching set of rings for the boot.

I bought one of these months ago. Mines not on the car as yet but quality
wise very good. For a fiver you can't go wrong really.
Slightly smaller than OE but I doubt it will be that noticeable on the car.
Mines debadged at the moment, bought my black badge in a late night
ebay impulse purchase. However with my car being black I can't say I'm
happy to fit it without doing the front and rear rings black too.
