Bluetooth obd diagnostic, help please

Hi all, a very kind asn member has borrowed me his obd bluetooth device, im abit stumped as to the app i should download for my iphone/ipad? Any suggestions would be great and there will be likes and thanks for all and any suggestions(within reason lol)

I'd of thought such a device would be paired with a peice of software.. find the brand of the Bluetooth OBD dongle and a quick Google should reveal the relevant software.

Torque is the name of the App, if you have an android phone...

Dude, its called Torque, its an app on the Android format and supposed to be really good too.

Yeh i wanted one for my iphone, dosent look like it supports it at all, it wont even register as a bluetooth device on my phone, going to get my nephew to buy the app and borrow his phone to see if it works, alot of faffing to be fair, its a shame i havent got the readys for a proper vcd cable. How are you any way mate?

Alrite nilz never saw your reply, yeh if you download it then ill pop round nd we can give it ago, and yeh iv got a few problems but want to check for codes before i do anything.

No worries dude, ill get it one evening over wifi, then give you a shout.

Yea did go last night, was ok, bit quiet as its still quite cold, but the cars that were there were off a very high calibre!!

Dont worry about your car being dirty dude, it was too dark to notice by the time we got there anyway....

If I go with Jojo, our aim is to get there before 9pm (KFC Closes then!!)

I am looking at dashcommand which works for iPad and iPhone and uses a bluetooth device ... I will also download the pro version of torque for android which will use the same Bluetooth device.
