Thanks, but I'm not sure about the door blades. Plus there no cheap. Maybe some thing to put on the to do list.

Going to order the engine cover for the screen wash bottle side next.

Mate, that's one of my favourite avant's i've ever seen! What have you done to it then? Was it like that when you bought it, or have you constructed the beauty all by yourself?

Thank you.
I'll be honest, I pretty much bought it like this. All I've done is mint it up and fit the carbon APR Airfilter.

The wheels, suspension, exhaust and Sline kit was all fitted by the previous owner.

That's actually quite cool. Not sure I'd do it on my own car but I respect the originality (most of us keep tinkering to make our cars just a little bit original, even if we're copying others and not coming up with truly original mods).

looks good mate, where do you get the engine bay covers from??? how much they? whats the part number??? lol

what do you tink of the carbon air filter? does it make any difference in sound or performance? i want something that gives a little sporty grunt under acceleration, but wasnt sure which one to get! where did you get it from and how much was it? did you fit it your self?

sorry for twenty questions.

Thanks :) . It is generally pretty clean, not perfect though. I'm seriously considering chopping it in for a nice 1.8T B6 though!
looks good pal, agree about the grill tho. selling my 1.8t b6 if the right offer came along, 190bhp!!!!

There is many threads about the engine covers you can buy from Audi dealers.
I bought the Apr carbonio air box as the previous owner had fitted a cheap metal type airfilter that had rusted and was sucking in hot air. It was cheaper to buy the carbon box than get a new stock airbox.
It gives the car a mild induction sound and a distinctive dump valve sound. Plus it looks much better. Fitting for me was easy. I'm very handy with a spanner.

Very sweet Rawtor51, hope to get my silver one looking that good one day.....

What colour are the wheels? Thinking of getting my RS6's refurbed/coloured and that looks great with a silver car.....

A few of mine. Only had it a few months so not done too much yet. New plates and surrounds and black Audi badge.

I have to get a new front splitter too as the previous owner had hit a pheasant at 80mph lol. £48 from Audi which I thought was suprising cheap for an Audi part. Rear wiper squirter is clogged and I catn unblock it so I might just remove the wiper completely, not sure yet.

I'll add a cupra splitter to the new splitter i think.

Nice clean looking Avant there. Thats exactly how mine looked before the colour codeing and S-line bumpers etc. But honestly dont fit a Cupra Splitter to the stock front buimper they just dont look rite.

Thanks Andi, yeah unsure about the splitter, ive seen a few pics but not sure. Im not going to be replacing the bumpers or anything but I do think the standard one needs something.. any other cheapish suggestions?

Looks nice in white, has that had a bump at the front? looks like the bonnet is up a bit at the sides

The Cupra splitter makes a massive difference to the standard front.

More often than not the rear wiper is seized on and will require cutting off, so be aware :(

White Avants FTW

Cheers mate will keep that in mind and get the grinder out lol.

White avant is very cool!

Yeah i bumped the front, some guy cut me up then slammed his brakes on so nudged his back end. He apologised which done nothing for the damage.

I got an s line front end to go on with a new bonnet and colour coding soon so that will be sorted.

You can see it more here.

Ive pastidipped the front upper and lower grills and rings in black since these photos. Gonna peel off the black on the rings tho as it just looks like its fallen off.

Mods so far, HID's, DIS and Cruise, Focal components, sub and amp. BT headunit and decat.

PhilW, are you PhilW of SCN fame? Blue Ibiza cupra?

It's bowen mate. I had a yellow ibiza, you cleared many a code and left your wallet in my car which I returned.

How do you find the EGR bypass? And white avants are ace, i love them!! Must be pretty rare for the uk though, a white b6 avant.

Well my solenoids controlling the ASV and EGR were toast so any change would be for the better.

I personally fuel economy is slightly down if anything as it takes longer to warm up. But it stops all the crap gettin back into the engine. You only have to look at the OEM egr when you take it off to realise youre doing a good thing by removing it.

here is a couple from yesterday after having my 19" BBS LM reps fitted (8.5x19 and 9.5x19).

it was a bit dirty after a 350 mile commute home so it had a wash and polish today and i'll put some pics up tomorrow.
Not happy with the ride height so i'm just waiting on some AP coilovers to arrive, going for the same stance as Andi25th's avant.

That looks spot on mate, just needs the front down to match the rear.

Same wheel widths etc as my ASA wheels. I'm planning getting some different wheels, but can't make up my mind at the moment.

Andi25th - yep just waiting on the coilovers. The boot was full to the roof of stuff that's why the back looks nice and low, want it sitting at about that ride height on the rear and a tad lower on the front.

heres a couple of pics after a good wash, polish and hoover (oh and with the boot emptied of crap).
