Strange who would want to steal a sportback?!

Haha, love you SK

In all seriousness, hope it gets found and the culprits are dealt with accordingly!

Oh my lord, not another one.

Thoughts are with you, just glad you are OK. Best of luck with the investigations, despite the inconvenience you're probably better off not getting it back.

Lot of Copy S3's being fabricated onto lesser models (scan e-bay), and I've never understood how it's economic for the owner to do full panel swap and S3 retrofit, just hope cars like yours aren;t being stolen to order as parts donors.

Best of luck mate.

luckily mate, and luckily for the thieves, it isnt my car. but il pass the kind words on!

i hope it gets found, i cant see how it wont. what on earth they'l do with a stolen car like that i have no idea, but like you say, it'l likely be stripped of parts.

3 door or sportback, the peformance is the same hence it makes no difference.
a sportback means more space to put the swag .
i hope you find it quick.
lots of breakers up north in yorkshire.

I've tried to send you a PM, but not sure if it worked...

I hope they find it but as Warren stated its not a coincidence that S3 lookalikes are ten a penny.

The RS3 I used to see in Coventry is in the police compound so something dodgy has happened there as well.

Update on this thread. New member had incident involving this car this morning. Thats why he joined up to get a pm to Superkarl.

Let's hope that some theiving little scum are strung up by their feet in a dark garage somewhere, awaiting an appearance from superkarl and his friend.

+1 but I'm more amazed this thing ain't now part of a 54 plate tdi over in Bratford by now.

I cant believe its been driven about for so long with the same plates on.

How havnt they been pulled?

Some innocent persons probably bought it with they're hard earned cash off a dodgy bloke

Or it's been put to one side for a rainy day. You'd think they'd of switched the plate to match another white S3 SB... Weird!

Oooh this is all very 'cloak and dagger'. Was it stolen by MI5 or something? :)

I want a happy ending. I am fed up of robbing scum who think they can just take stuff off people who have worked hard for it. I'm still bitter about the tw@t who stole my fcking centre caps off my wheels.

but the post from ian has me asking questions about the cars identity. or everything could be fine and dandy. i dont know yet, im still waiting to hear from him.

Did you get the forwarded email I sent you yesterday Karl? :)

recieved sandra thanks.

well, the original owner whom it was stolen off, sold the car on once he got it back, it was found in scotland in the end, miiiiiiles away from home.
and it seems the new owner nearly crashed into the new member ian and he's stumbled across this thread.

im relieved its not a case of stolen number plates or duplicate cars as i knew the owner got it back after about a week of it being missing.
so all is cleared up now.
