yeah got a season ticket this year after 8 years on the waiting list. I'm bunged up too with cold so wont be able to taste the beautiful stella and thai food :(

If you PM ASN memeber NHN (Nigel) he'll sort you out with a cable cheaper then buying from the states. The proper cable is the way forward.

Nd thanks ill do that now. Just thought i need something myself rather than nagging mates to do it.

Just eat the hottest things on the menu, i aint had a proper thai for years, or ate there food ;) joke aside you cant beat a good thai green curry with king prawns nd sticky rice mmmm.

I think there is still a vcds group buy going on so speak to him quick. Best thing I have bought for my car (and a lot of my families cars!! )

NHN VCDS Groupbuy has now expired. You can still get cable through him though. :)

I'm not sure what quote you just got but I bet it's cheaper then the £330 I paid 3 years ago to get one from the states?! :faint:

Yes it is mate, suppose its an out lay that will be recouped over time. Ill see if my brother will go halfs on it as i probly wouldnt use it a fat lot , i dont know what im looking at when it comes to vcds anyway, doing logs and all that jazz lol

I've used mine so many times on my car and loads of friends cars. Bear in mind that most Audi dealers will charge you around £60 just to scan your car!
 
I paid about £230 last May, and have used it looooads. Handy for scanning and code finding, but just as useful for logging etc..
 
I think i paid about £240 for mine, from gendan (website) but as said Nigel will probably be cheaper.I've used mine quite a bit too, and I don't do anything that exciting with my car. I bought it mainly cos I needed to reprogram a key, and it was a good excuse :)

He eventually gave it back! I had to threaten to go down there and rub some coal in his face though. Things got a little scary for a while, but we're all friends again now.

Evening gents. Not happy the mrs rang me on a rant saying this f'ing car won't start. Anyway after a detour to go give her a jump ;) iv just had to go and rinse £90 on a Varta silver top. Tbh the old one has been on its way out for a while but even so it's a poo way to end the week.

Fitting wood floors for me all weekend at a mates, yay for me!!! Hope to get it done tomorrow so I can chill on Sunday. But what's the chances eh lol.

Morning people, one of those annoying mornings... Had yet another dream about what my life would be if I won the lottery 10 million to 1 chance - such a **** tease! At least with a dirty dream I got a better chance of it happening!Whose up to anything exciting?? I'm off to work maybe I can work out why my brakes make a banshee squeal...

No such luck sandy, was pissin around with the battery longer than expected. Couldn't get the securing bolt in as the new battery Is slightly bigger. always the case with a two min job eh!

Trying to muster up the courage to go and dig some tools out ready to go up to jimmys to do his floor.... Really can't be ***** today :(

Pads have 50% left, discs look ok slight lip. It's only when I reverse whih makes me think it's potentially a ceased caliper. Will get to work an take the wheel off to have a gander... Cancel the flooring and get your car remapped dude. You know you want to!
 
Ye Sounds more likely to be a sticky caliper.
getting up at 6am to watch peppa was not my idea mate lol, unfortunately he's only about 2ft tall so can hardly punch him on the nose and say "FK OFF!!
Itchin to get mapped now I've decided on it but I'll prob wait it out and go R Tec with super***** but that's light years away :(

Fool me guys those Info tyres I've now got are lethal. In the rain yesterday I was getting all 4 wheels spinning when booting it out of roundabouts! Had a few hairy moments and had to calm down. I'll have to get some decent tyres on them rims ASAP before I end up in a ditch. I don't know how welly copes with sunnys :faint:
