Im on faults today so all over the NW again. No time for anything :(

Hi pub goers :) iv byn signed off work for a week so im working my way to a 1000 posts in my spare time lol :) everyone else enjoying the sh*t weather?

Weather in Scotland is remakeably good again today. You should manage to clock up a fair few posts in a week. :)

Read as the rain is falling vertically instead of its usual horizontalness. The seagulls are flying as they mean to instead of sideways and pensioners are not being blown over when passing road ends and other breaks in buildings. I'm Ayrshire born so I know these things to be true!

Why??? Weather is fkn awful today rains comming in sideways and most of it has been spent on top of the terraces at Accrington Stanley tracing cable faults.

Dude if it's the one going around up here it's horrible, and lasts ages!! Bags of snot and just as you think your shaking it off the next wave kicks in and feels like you've swallowed a coil of razor wire. Still feel like **** two weeks in :(

Sounds bout right. Started with a killer sore throat last night, then snot, now completely bunged up and still with killer throat!
 
We're all just getting over our colds. Worst thing was the little fella got it which sucks as he doesn't sleep then :(

Scott...what the frig are you designing a badge for? Don't say the steering wheel. You have far too much time on your hands :D
 
Damo, My wheel badge is broken. So I thought I'd make a 3D one using all the correct sizes in the hope someone could make one out of ally or something, since the original ones are plastic with a bit of tin pressed over it.

I assume you mean for the car (VCDS or similar)?

You need a bluetooth device and you can then use the iPad or iPhone. A mate of mine bought it and tested it but he sent it back as it wasn't very quick on our old cars. It was a lot faster on another mates 8P S3.

I think your better off with a little notebook that will fit in the glove box and proper VCDS.
 
AAAARGH! My son is upset with me. My cousin has left his camera equipment for me to look after, after he stayed over mine over the last weekend. During that time, he was teaching my 7yr old son the basics of photography and letting him use his his camera to take pics!

I have no issues with that of course, but he said he could use the equipment whenever he wants! So after tipping a whole bowl of Weetabix off the dining table and onto the floor this morning, my son decided he'd like to take a few snaps. So he finds the camera bag and helps himself to the camera and the medium lens... value £1k+ :faint: I told him to put it back, he's not talking to me now, even the missus is on his side! :wtf:

Hi all thanks for the replys, yeh i mean to check vcds nd so forth. So its abit poo on our cars :( thats a shame. Sorry for my noobness but are the cables with the software built in the best ones to buy?

@jojo. Buy him a cheap starter kit, my nephew has some cannon thing that has a big lense and lcd screen, not the greatest but atleast he can trash it, and if your wife is sideing with the lad then let him use it till his hearts content, after all your cous said he can use it, so if he breaks it then oh well lol


Atleasts the weathers better, anyone doing anything exciteing this weekend?

Im suppose to be going all you can eat chinese for my bday tomoro but im on deaths door at the mo (dont know the icon for sick face lol)

Any suggestion on a decent vcds cable or will any old one off ebay do the job?
 
Cam, pm me your address and you can play with Bluetooth unit.
It works ok on my car but no where near as good as vcds.

I'm off to enjoy the sun.
