Anyone have a nice stace and still have non painted lowers? I'm looking for ideas for some new rims. I have a crystal blue B6. Please post pics.

That looks sweet.

Unpainted S-Line (USP) lowers are unheard of over here!

This is mine with 18" RS6 wheels and unpainted standard lowers:

Mitch, that car looks great. I really like the non-painted fron S Line/USP valance.

There's plenty of non-painted lowers (Shuttle Re-Entry Style!) in the pictures thread, like this one

Am I the only one that thinks that the reason the top one looks so good is due to the effect of the photography? I think in real life it will just look like a car with the cheap option ticked of not having the bumper sprayed....

Well, I've seen others with not-so-fancy photography that still look good. I like it as, to be honest, I don't really like the normal S-Line valance as I think it makes the car look dated (probably alone in that opinion) but the S4 bumper is too rare and expesnice and the standard type is too 'Gail Platt' when painted. So a unpainted S Line front is a happy compromise.

Audi didn't start painting the lowers of the B6 until 2004. The older B6s didn't have the option.

In the UK it was late 2003 when the S-Line front started to be fitted to sports that the standard "SE" front came colour coded.

You're certainly not alone ;)
