Could park on the curb, which will make you further away from the traffic and stop the mirror removal and side scraping..................but then someone might key your car..........ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Sad! just put newly refurbed alloys on mine, pulls over to find a cd, thinks mind the kerb so turns away from kerb a bit and wham, 2 days later man in a van fixing at 7am in mornin, wife says "you cant do that everytime you kerb it" yeah you wanna bet. Gets to work and mate who just shelled out 22k on an A3 Quattro with rotors walks in with a long face and says "dog jumped on me and i smashed the kerb" which made us laugh and made me feel better, kerbs, i hate them.

Done my bbs ch the other day took abit out of the tyre to was not happy everytime I get new wheels that first month I kerb one the I'm usually ok for years I hope
but 4 times doh

Got to admit it's the worse feeling for us wheel whores!

I've gone through 7 sets of 18" rims and tyres over 10yrs and 115k miles on my Passat Estate! Not one set has ever survived unkerbed courtesy of my other half!!
