As title says really I can get hold of a used forge twintake from an s3 and have been offered it for £225 is this a good price or should I be offering less thanks

What are they new? What condition is it in/how many miles has it been on the car?

I'd say that's about right tbh. if not quite a good deal. over £300 new? take it I say!

Shouldnt matter really how long it's been othe car, it's not like a banana that if you leave it it goes off? just may need it's filter cleaned.
revo sells them for.....this much.... ^^^^^

I know that, but if it's been on for 30000 miles, I'd be paying a lot less than one that's done 5000, but I was meaning more for general condition. £302+tax (and that's on offer) means £225 looks like a pretty good deal - go for it, I'd say.

Just check there's no holes or any previous major rubbing issues. if all sound. have it :)

On a slightly different note, can these be fitted but still use the engine cover? Anybody have a pic of one fitted?

your gonna need to trim the standard cover down or buy the TTS cover or an after market one.

the item wont be any different if its done 5000 or 50000, nothing that a clean and new filters wont sort. filtered air through it and some grime on the outside, nothing that would cause a dramatic demand for a reduced price.
