I like it, maybe some minor adaptions, but it looks more like the older S3 aswell which always stood out immensely imho, where as an s3 of today against an sline looks almost identical.

Tbh I like it, but it doesn't look like an "RS" model... :shutup2:They were always meant to be avant shaped, as the rs2 was. I'll probably get flamed for this, but although I think my 3door is prettier, the sportback definitely looks more grown-up, mean and purposeful. I think Audi have got it right, and I hope they stick to the 3 door for the s3, and only make the rs3 in SB... Just my 2p, don't hurt me!:undwech:

That's what the S3 should look like, RS should be SB and much more aggressive.

Hmmmm.. As much as I kinda like the saloon, the RS model was never made in saloon, only the "s" and that's the way it should stay! I had this argument with my mate recently because he said the rs4 looks better in saloon or "sedan" than avant.. I said it wasn't just about looks, it was about tradition, at which point he called me an "old-fashioned Audi ******" :lmfao:

Although I wouldn't call you a ******, I do agree with your mate. The b7 RS4 IMO is the best looking Audi ever, along with the ur Quattro. Probably why I think a saloon would look the nuts. And it'd blow the 1 series m out of the water.

I still prefer the avant shape personally, the wedge shape just looks more aggressive IMO

B7 was, and it's amazing, but I still agree that RSs should be Avants

I think I haven't made myself clear enough here.. The RS model (rs2) is what I meant... As much as I like the rs4, it just isn't a proper RS for me.. The fact that it gets smoked by the original just says it all.. Making it in saloon was a sin! The rs3 is the first one to attempt to return to how it should be, and it's stillnot quite there - if I could drive a manual, I would have an rs2 all day long.

And the best looking was the SWB Quattro!

Ive changed the wheels.... Not the perfect photoshop job.... but it will do....

B5 RS4 still has my head turning everyday of the week, it just says powerrrrrr lol.

Agree 100% here mate... They got it nailed with looks on the b5..:rockwoot:

Are there any pics of the new A3 around in 3-door S-Line trim yet? Still really undecided about the looks tbh - the rear is far too A1 and the rest of it just looks like a slightly facelifted model rather than a whole new car.

Make it like that AUDI, twin oval exhausts one on each side at the rear, buckets, 400 bhp, manual and 3 door

If you did you could have a deposit now lol

Jesus christ! Don't give up your day job mate. Unless its in graphic design.

im on holiday and all I have to work with is Microsoft word... still puts the idea across! :)

There were 2 at geneva - I believe the red one was S-Line and the other one was lower spec (although I don't know WHICH lower spec)

Think I'm gonna have to see one in the flesh, although my car is up for renewal in November, so factory order would need to be in at least a couple of months before that and it sounds like the models are going to be seriously restricted to start with. Not seen any mention of when the decent diesels are arriving (i.e. 2.0TDI 170+ PS)

S-Line will be available from launch as it was for the new A6 and B8 A4. Not sure on diesels though but from what I've read the 2.0TDi will now be 150bhp and I guess the 170bhp will now be 177bhp the same as the A6....

And how much would sir be willing to pay for all this? Because I think the Quattro is gonna be around this kinda spec, but is rumoured to be starting at £85k :scared2:

Just been looking at a few renderings of the faintly possible (at this stage) RS3 3-door.. Seems like everyone's trying to have a go on photoshop, but this one i like.. Especially the wheels (from the a1 clubsport monster) :yum:Designer Imagines The Next Audi RS 3 With New Rendering | Reviews | Prices | Australian specifications

and for those of you too lazy to open a link:p, here's a teaser pic...

I know its still speculation at this stage, but this one looks tough - with the black sills, arches and splitters it looks like it could be the first audi for a few years that actually could go rallying?

The B7 RS4 is what made me really fall in love with the Audi brand... those flared arches and the twin oval exhausts  all topped up with practicality and space of the avant so you can even take your dog out for a crazy spin!
Thats what every RS should have, Not a big fan on the design of the current RS3 but with some little changes that RS3 could look like the monster that it really is.

As for the 3 door version im not sure that is a good idea. yes the saloon quattro A3 coming out next year will be special and a proper contender to the 1M.

+1... and I think the SB rear led lights are much better looking than the dodgy slanted a1 rear lights.. maybe they're a grower, but I'm not convinced....
