HI folks,

My car is a 2.0T s.line sportback/ running 18''s
I have searched around but cannot find the result I am looking for
so, I have pretty much set my sight on the H&R make
Everyday I have to go through the junction which is down hill layout and join back up the hill so inbetween i will have a chance of catching the bottom of the car, on my old standard a3 with 50mm drop It has always catch the bottom.
So what should I do
Pics I think will sort me out

Thank you

i'd say get 35mm then if 50 used to catch.

or get 50mm and thicker tyres lol

I've got Eibach 50mm drop front and 40mm drop rear. I've found them to be great and I haven't had any scraping on the road or arches, and think they look great! I'll try and post some pics later, but haven't done it before, so bare with me. To get an idea of how much lower it will be, the front measurement from the wheel centre to the arch was 345mm after lowering.

well i did went for that option on my old a3 it scrape so I am still deciding hmmm :S

have you thought about coilovers? You'd have an adjustable drop then. you could lower it a few mm every day untill it starts scraping, and then go back a bit.

No not really I think I will settle with springs for now :)

was your old A3 an SB or 3dr? I wondered if that was the difference with scraping!
