I'd been putting this film off for a while as it's in Spanish with English subtitles but it was very good indeed. Shows how a little girl uses her imagination to escape the realism of the Spanish civil war. Worth watching people.

Its fantastic. What you think of the ending Westy?

I bought it recently as it's in my top ten, they were harsh times then.

I have had this for a few years. Its a fantastic movie. The ending gets to me every time. :)

You should really watch foreign films in their native language and use the subtitles. Makes it much much better. Besides that point, I never really understood this film. Much less impact.

What didn't you understand? The little girl just has a vivid imagination :tocktock:

I understand the film. It's not complex. Just the whole seeing the ending right at the beginning, so I knew she was going to die. No surprise when she did. I much prefer the Devils backbone!

Funnily enough got the same comments from my work colleagues lol.Just never got round to watching it...

On nights this week so not much movie watching will get done.

I have taxi driver sat on my shelf. Been meaning to watch it all week. Anyone else seen it?

Really like it. I like Guillermo Del Toro films. The Orphanage is a good one of his films too!
