Hi there this is a problem as theres lots of birds in my street so nearly everyday theres one one my car , i,m using Autpglym Wipes ,but they leave a white smear , once wiped And dried,,.. I tried kitchen roll with turtle bug remover , but that left a few scratches , so what the best way to remove bird poo off my car ...cheers....

How about a watering can with a touch of shampoo and a nice soft microfiber? Should help to soften the poo, and remove most of the grit before you wipe it off. And finish it off with a quick spray of quick detailer.

Nedd to counter the acid in the poo.It WILL burn through the top coat if left. And it depends on what the little phukers have been eating.Berries mean more acid.I keep a tin of supagard bird lime neutraliser in the boot. Its the only supagard product thats any good the rest is shhit. But this foam is pretty good.A squirt and a damp cloth on top as soon *** you find it.job done.If its pigeons, get an air gun

I use Auto Finesse Citrus Power, jug of water and a microfiber. Works well!

my way i keep a bottle of QD in my car along with a micro fibre cloth (in a sealed bag) at all times so if i do get one i quickly clean it off then clean the cloth once dry put it back in its sealed bag for the next time one of the little blighters does one on my paint

Ideally the best way if you can is to use warm water on a Microfibre and leave it on the area to allow the cloth to soften the poo, then wipe off.

Alternatively as Fran has mentioned plenty of quick detailer on the area or on you mf to soften then wipe away

usually if possible i clean it off before it dried so its just a case of a little squirt of QK then a wipe with the micro fibre but if it has dried then i leave the QD on there for a short while it usually softens it easy enough to wipe off , that is where my OCD comes through lol got to clean it off asap lol

The warm cloth is also a good technique to use on insects on the front of the car, wing mirrors etc....saves using bug remover than can sometimes strip off the protection

for that exact reason is why we only drive at like 50-60 mph on the way to car shows nasty nasty bugs lol

Thanks loving the techniques, never even thought about a warm cloth...:)

Andrew and I drove a little bit quicker to The Fast Show, so a fair few flies on the front....ooops! It was fun though ;)
well there isn't anything wrong with that got to clean her out every now and again , i don't always drive slowly i do every now and again give her a good thrash down the country lanes :)
