so heres todays work, first minor detail of the year, hoping to do a major correction in a couple of months time for the shows etc

so i started by using a high pressure was at my local garage, which is round the corner, then straight back onto the drive.
washed and rinsed:

products il be using:

then coated the lower parts of the car and the wheels with auto finesse citrus power:
P3300105.jpg

the wheels were my main focus point today, lots of accumulated brake dust, hard to clean, and tire shine had made the edges quite dull
P3300104.jpg

power washing the citrus power off after going around the car:
P3300106.jpg

here is the marks around the edges of the rim:
P3300107.jpg

so i applied autosmart tardis to all four wheels, well coated, and wiped them down:
P3300113.jpg

this got rid of the marks, and they began to look fairly clean

next was to treat the wheels to my new product, wolfs decon gel:

V impressed with this product!! they came up excellent

so after power washing the wheels down and they were complete i started on the body
badges and door shuts treated to citrus power and a brush:

2 bucket method

here is what was collected in the dirty bucket:

now the car was actually very dirty, hard to tell on a dark blue car really until you're up close, but the above pic shows how well the citrus power works to get rid of the stuck on dirt.

a throough rinse after hand washing:

P3300116.jpg

not much protection, if any.
dried with a microfibre
clean car:

one of MANY marks:

so now on to my next new product:
auto finesse rejuvinate. i wanted something quick and easy until i do my full correction. this fits the bill
P3300123.jpg

results are good, leaves a clean shine, and helps mask some blemishes:
hello me

next onto windows. autoglym glass polish, i like this stuff:

^seal of approval^

now to go over the whole car with megs quick detailer:
P3300132.jpg

as ive said, some proper protection will go on in my big detail.
door shuts clean:

and the last step, tire shine. megs endurance tire gel spray, round the car twice for extra gloss

i also dress my splitter with this

now off to a meet at krispy kremes, hopefully it will look respectable amongst the rest.

Nice mate job. You considered getting the Megs tyre gel once your spray runs out? A lot of people say its better than the spray and lasts longer.

Very nice there bud. How was the rejuvenate then?
you were my inspiration rav :) its good, a much better alternative than the common super resin polish id say. according to polished bliss it contains some mild abrasives so does offer some correction to an extent. it'd be good to go over a fully corrected car every now and again.

now you've said that il consider it. i think the spray is great as it is. its lasting me well though.

Yeah, its just that i heard it being said enough times when a tyre gel was discussed and when Halfords had the 3 for 2 i snapped it up as well as the Autoglym SRP and Megs interior detailer.

Out of curiousity, how long did it take you to do all that?

In that last pic your car is just shouting 'low and slow'. I'm not really into that look but your car suits it I think...

Car looks good for such a quick job, and I notice you got the generic 'grime running off the back of the wheel pic' :lmfao:

Good work Karlos :icon_thumright:

At least your car looked good for the show :sly:

Cnt, get back out and clean your car so you can hang out with the 'scene' lads, rather then us with aspirations of power..

Surprised you haven't got stretched tyres and a sticker bombed car!

How is your fmic going Karl, on the car yet? What about the imaginary Downpipe and mani?

looks good, try chem guys new loom trim gel for tyres and plastics aswell as under bonnet bits.

i RECKON THAT COLOUR WOULD LOOK GREAT WITH SOME pURPLE hAZE ON OR bLACKLIGHT.

Good job, although if you got some extra protection on (even one coat of wax/sealant) it will prolong the look until your more in-depth detail.
