How is everyone coping with the panic buying near them?

It all seems normal down here I think.

think its just the media bigging it up!
like when darn sarf gets 2mm of snow and the news lets you believe the world is going to stop, but not a mention of the north and scotland having 12inches for over a week or so!
i think the media actually promotes panic buying imo

This country loves to make a mountain out of a mole hill! If the fuel tanker drivers reason for going on strike is health and safety and not money related then just get it sorted ***!

The snow thing makes me laugh being down south. We have people at work who say they can't get in from 5 miles away yet other staff will travel 30 miles an still get in. Though I'm sure my boss will tell me to stay at home in future as I'll be coming 50 miles :) bonus.

The snow thing was funny.
I generally could not get out of my parking space let alone the street. So I never went in but there was other people who is with in walking distance and would not go in but other people who's with in walking distance or bike riding distance did.
Nothing was ever said to them or done.

The hole fuel situation at the moment is silly.
The government and media needs their heads banging together and then taken off with a rusty shaver.

If people just carried on normally it would be fine.
we'd have the fuel and the strike would be over and then it would carry on as normal.

The unions (Wrong or write spelling I don't care, if its wrong it fits, if its right it fits as well) seem to want people to strike, no matter who its for or when or how. they just want people to strike, show their power and make prove to people that the money they are paying to them is worth while.
FK em, pile of ****ers, I refuse to join such a group/club/cult.
 
Lol in Watford yesterday it was all kicking off on the forecourt. 4 area cars and 8 copper speeding in like it was a mass riot. Fkn joke!!!

All garages where dry round my way yeaterday but shell got replenished late last night.so filled up the 3 this morning.

Makes me laugh tho how people jump on the band waggon. They ain't even ment to stoke till after Easter weekend *** and thats not been confirmed yet.

Suuuup... Man I'm goosed after yesterday. Hoping for an easy one today and an early finish. Out tonight to auntie jeans 50th then out round whalley on the lash. Should be a laugh. Looking fwd to a good drenching :beerchug:

i take it all back people!
just been out to put some derv in, and 3 garages have sold out and had to que for 20mins just to get some!
stupid goverment monkeys, thats what it stems from!
makes me fancy an electric car! with solar panels on the roof so they cant tax me on electricity!
 
Shell garage closed were out of V-power, then closed later on, managed to put in some BP super unleaded. £75 and I still had 10 litres left in the tank! :ohmy:

Well whatever happened to lazy Sunday mornings!!
was woken up by the mrs saying Baxter had got the ****s again. So went down to the kitchen to spec it out for,the clean up op..
could smell it but couldn't see it!! Now I'm no dog expert but Wilson was led on the bed looking mighty ****** off indead.
Then he stood up!! Baxter must have sharted through the night, Pebble dashing poor fkn Wilson and the wall behind him!!
The mrs is NOT impressed and I don't help waking around with the fkn giggles :lmfao:

Spent all yesterday searching the land for a new sofa for mum as she's moving back over this way and her old one is to big for her new pad. So today will be spent doing as little as poss.

Spent the weekend searching for sofa's and beds with my mummy lol, so nothing fun, nothing at all. Oh wait I built a gate... The joys eh !!
How was yrs mate. What you getting done to the motor ??

Westy told me how to log this last week, but iv forgotten already :( Think it's somat like divide the maf reading by 0.8 but I'd wait out on that lol.

Oh and I'm sure he said you take the reading from block 002, but I could we way out haha

Ha bed shopping for yourself? Or for mommy?lol i just paid £600 for a new duevant, mattress and headboard.

Wel i got back from amsterdam on saturday, so abit gutted about that lol and mainly been recovering from the amount i ate whilst over there :munchies.

And iv got the old ***** booked in for a new p/s driveshaft aswel as spring, due to that breaking at the top for some unknown reason, aswel as a new stat, g12 coolant, another oil change, last was about 1000miles ago but im not likeing the colour of the oil so a new batch should sort it.

Was hopeing to get my spray sorted this month (car got batterd by a dustbin truck) but due to the above list its having to wait till the next paycheck again :(.

Lets hope somone pops in to enlighten us both, iv seen it in a few threads but i too have the memory of a dislexik goldfish.
