What can i say, he didnt spend 3 hours at my house just re-mapping.................. :eyebrows: we also...... talked.... haha:yes:

I wouldn't mind, but i even plied him with tea and biscuits all morning.......you youngsters.....it must be your admiration of his trainers that swung it !
 
Ahhh i didnt feed him biscuits, crumbs and all that in the car. thats not cool :asskicking:

i wasn't sure where to stick it but think its pretty sweet where it is. what do you think?

Yep, perfect......stylish and discreet.

Your car really looks nice, and now it goes like stink too...v.nice.

My one (when it comes) is black as well so not sure where to put it as the car is Phantom....still, it will be a nice problem to have once it TURNS UP !!!:icon_thumright:

I think yours is going to be VERY discreet on phantom black! you need a white one!

Not for me, front end is good as is. Any stickering I would ever do on the S would be on rear panel to the right of the number plate to balance out the S3 badge.

Not a huge sticker fan, but if you're happy then it's all good mate!

Well I had a play with a ford focus RS the other day. I was still pulling very slightly from that. there 300bhp standard. this one was mountune'd and had a decat. the focus is a heavy car like the S3 so I would guess somewhere in the region of 315bhp.
 
bearing in mind I had 2 people and the dog in the car and my friend in the focus was on his own. so can't be bad!
 
Reference your Shark sticker. Where did you get it from. Are you supposed to get one after the remap as a token gesture of thanks. Or do you have to goto Shark to get them. I never asked Graeme if there were any.

I got mine from N8. not sure theyre if there given out to every customer. I just asked him for one. I'm sure any of the shark dealers will have some or be able to get your some. It's essentially free advertising for shark after all. :)

PM GNJ or N8 or give HQ a call. they should sort you out.

Nice, have you removed your pre-cat as you say you're stage 2 but is that a full turbo back exhaust?

I have a full non resonated turbo back Milltek with 100 cell sports cat. which makes it legal for any future MOT'S

My old exhaust standard set up has only done about 1k. it's from my 61 plate, anyone know it's value?
 
finally had the update file done today at Shark HQ.....

So after 110 miles..... and 3.5hrs of traffic to get there.......it took 8 mins to do...and woohoo no hesistation! :thumbsup:

All worky quite well, I'm yet to test her properly as traffic was ***** all day but ill have a butchers tomorrow :)

horrible 6hr round trip though :(

Keep us posted.

Mine drove sweet as a nut to Inters and back (450mile ish).

Did a 4.9s 0-60 on the strip in between.

Car feels nice, quick, and pulls to the redline.

Speaks volumes for the map.:thumbsup:

Not had the DSG map yet, money is tight at the second unfortunately :(

I just had the updated Stage 2 file done to get rid of the hesitation.

Really want this DSG map :(

Ill have a spin in the morning and see whats what , hopefully ill be:yahoo: about it all, although to be honest, i can tell its better already.

Ill abuse it properly tomorrow :)

I had the original stage 2 map done just before i went round europe, tackled disneyland, belgium + luxembourg and it ran faultlessly, its just the refinement that needed to be sorted, think it may be there...although when i receive more cash....someday... stage 2+ will come.

Much improvement Shark :friends:

Miss the DSG map, get the `DSG patch` instead and see how you go.
 
Had a quick test this morning in the way to work.

before after each gear change(when flat out) there was a noted pause after each gear change.

Now this has gone. it's much much better.

Happy man.

even though Mansfield is full of traffic, traffic lights and speed cameras, it was worth the trip!

Although mentioned in another thread, I think its important to keep this up to date.

Update: Its been to Powerstation, Tewkesbury's 4WD Rolling Road. 15/1/2013

Shark Performance Stage 2 = 315bhp.

Graph to follow sometime soon.

+ Another dyno to follow showing results for the new twintercooler for facelift models.
