Juicy's Green Goblin Build Thread

Tbh the pictures don't do the wheels justice they look much better in the flesh

I wouldn't worry about that just yet, any 19's look funny on the S3 without lowering. When the springs are on they will look a million times better. Good choice of wheels. Those pics of the beading are awesome :)

What is with the writing on the wheels? Doesn't look right!

Also, buy some OEM wheel nut covers - will look a lot better than baldy wheel nuts which will eventually rust :)

Boyds makes a fair point the R and S look off like almost mis placed, the wheels do look mental and Vreds are a good choice of tire I've them on my A3

I do however adore that paint!! Makes me want one in Java soooo bad, if only :(

Green or Black wing mirrors in the pipe works possibly??

I've left the wheel nut covers off to tighten up after the first drive, plus they are coming off today for springs going on.

They are not reps if that's what your saying as the bank balance is £2k lighter!

I wouldn't know the difference if I'm honest xD but they do look good!

Also I dunno if you've noticed the paint on the brakes look over brushed, maybe thats how audi want them cus my ones looked like that also :/

Looks amazing! Love what you have done to it already and you have only had it five mins.

Looking forward to seeing the pics once it's been dropped.

WOW, what a beautiful S3.

...Love the colour choice and the RS grill / BBS alloys take it to a whole new level.

CH-R's look awesome, Jen! Lovely choice of wheels, looking forward to seeing it dropped. Luvverly jubberly! xx

That is a seriously nice looking S3, you don't mess about do you? Some serious brass being spunked there!

:icon_thumright:

Jen, car looks absolutely stunning. Bet you cant stop smiling. :)

To confirm for those that have doubted these are geniune alloys we have called BBS this morning and they have confirmed that a set of CH-R's were sent to Revolution on the day requested. The wording is correct and some do not have the small indents in between the bolts :)

Lowered of Eibach front springs....obviously not settled yet

Stance is totally spot on, Jen and further settling can only make it even better - if at all possible - nice work. I bet the ride with the Eibachs is pretty much OEM too, ..forgot to say earlier but beading shots are unreal. Stunning, nuff said. xx

Looks awesome jen!! And you can tell they are gen BBS alloys as the reps dont have flush centre caps.

I ran BBS CH's on my last car....they are quality rimz and like you say Jen they just dont come across in pics as they do in the flesh.

I'm going for a few satin black bits here and there hopefully....the cars now in for detail and correction before the fast show at the weekend so tyres will get sorted lol :)

awesome colour! love the beads! what wax you using or did i miss that bit lol. - rewrite.. just found it.

i got bored over the weekend and threw a quick coat of Supernatural over the car again (has dg 601+105+111). Then last night hit it with some Nanolex Spray Sealant as well on top lol

Looks amazing, and those wheels....
If you're going to sell your black optics grill I'm just down the road near Bedale with cash waiting

Awesome Jen. The depth on that shine is just unreal, what have you used? Even the badges look like they've had an extra coat of lacquer! Spot on!

That's all the pictures for the moment as I've not quite finished off the paint work, but as I've had the badges ages and only just finally managed to get them on thought I'd pop a few pictures up.

Not had chance to machine polish her yet, although there are some fine marks which were there in delivery.....all it's got on in the pictures is Supernatural Micro Prime, then going to add a couple of coats of Wet Glaze and then LSP when I decide what lol

Since getting the car in March this year its always annoyed me the colour of the front spitter and rear diffuser as it doesnt fit with the rest of the colours on the car. Therefore to keep with the theme I've been considering getting spare parts and getting them sprayed black, but before taking the plunge an easier route was to see what they might look like using Plastidip, which is more a matt black than gloss but at least you get the idea! I also did an experiment when we did a practice and added some trim dressing which does give it a deeper black, glossy look, however Ive got reservations that everything might just stick to the front and then look crap.
