Best place for a remap by a mile

I echo what the others say, you need to sort the injectors, FMIC and other bits before thinking about mapping, and even driving it much because generic stage ones tend to run a bit lean, trust me, you do not want that...
Yea im not driving it,at least the turbo mani are on now that was the main bit, just rang forge for fmic, because i get dicount, will be sorted end of month

I don't mean to be rude here, but discount aside, I bet you're still paying more than the total cost of a Toyosports setup, and you'll get a product that doesn't work as well.....

You'd have to be getting well over 50% off to make the costs comparable, and even then the forge cooler isn't really man enough.

I think you're making a mistake there dude....

I concur and have already said as much earlier in this thread... I don't believe this size of FMIC to be suitable for a hybrid... and that based on personal experience rather than conjecture

Im on a learning curve with this sort of thing, the discount i will get at forge will make the price near bang on the same ,and do appresiate all help!,i just don't want to loose lower grill's ect,but if the performance is that different toyosport cooler it is,just don't want to compramise looks!,advise taken though thanks for help.

I fairness I think the Forge uses more rows than the AH V1 which could mean flow wise the Forge should cope better but it still has 51mm inlets which is a compromise as I know 63mm bends can be welded on in place...

So a modified forge cooler might flow better?,i know a few people that work there, might be able to get them to modify it rather than re fabricate it somewhere else.

Just for the fact like i said above want it hidden, not trying to be awkward

Im sure a few people have managed to fit a welly cooler without having it on display well?
I think its a case of mounting the cooler as far back as possible and routing the pipes in a tidy way.
easier said than done though

Try and fit wellycooler as far back as pos then, ryan mtm has fitted before,il speak to him and get some tips on how his went!thanks!

I'm sure someone on here mounted a big welly style cooler upside down?

With the pipes dropping down from the top?

That looks more like it!,is there a build thread pipes used?

I think karl wants to know how you managed to cut off a 76mm pipe and weld in a 63mm one.

I'd imagine it's just clever welding isn't it? 76mm OD pipe cut off should leave a 74mm hole, which leaves a 5mm gap all round to bridge? Or flare the end of teh 63mm pipe to suit.

its cut on the slant.. the 63mm bit, so aligned top and bottom, and a little tap on the sidetanks moved them in a little, and the rest was some welding magic :)
