Hi Everyone, please take a look at my S3 here https://plus.google.com/photos/108252577206566005558/albums/5718988706663634609
tried to post pics to here but for some unknown reason it wouldnt let me.
This is standard for the minute but in working progress, i have a CC Remap, Milltek exhaust system with decat pipe, green panel air filter and Forge 007p being done at the end of the month then hopefully front mounted intercooler well hopefully if everything goes to plan.

Cheers Olly

Looks tidy Olly, nice motor there! Best colour! :beerchug:

In terms of photos, add to your profile and then copy the url from the uploaded pic one at a time into the photo url request screen when it comes to adding. Easier to explain by phone but there are stickies to explain it better.

Yeah mate but was asking jim as his is prefacelift like mine and the gaitor is very very tight unlike you post facelift guys.

You saying us facelift boys have baggy gators :lmfao:

@Dave A3 - Wow how clean do you want it?? haha great looking car buddy and How you finding the JOM's? how low have you dropped the A3? Thanks Cheers

as clean as i can lol after i took that pic i noticed a couple of bits i missed underneath :p

the joms are nice not too harsh and handle really well both with and without the arbs. I dunno how low it is really. the back are wind down to the bottom and the front i guess about 50mm could probably do with another 10mm but i got scared of bashing my sump! lol

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the great comments mucho appreciated, she is still a working progress but but have lots of ideas in mind for her.
Luckily for me the weather was nice today and i also had the day off work so it gave me chance to give her a good clean and polish, so i have taken a few more recent pics for you to have a look at.

I am after a Audi S3 battery cover if anyone has got a spare lying around that they would like to get rid of as its quite annoying me without one in my engine bay.

Nice looking A3 dave she is looking gleaming if i must say so, what polish are you using to get a shine like that.

Cheers Olly

P.s hope i have added the URL link to the pictures right Jimgrimm77

urs is also very clean looks like a nice example u got there!

i use autoglym super resin polish and collinite 845 wax. Chemical guys wheel guard on the rims. The black paint really does polish up well on these cars!

That's better! Your car looks well olly!

It's always good to take pics on a nice day, I really need to clean mine more!

@LukeBowen - Very neat car there buddy - looks nice and clean :) what's your intentions with the cabby? Cheers keep well

@Welly - haha thats 1 kick *** bird seed then :) here in SA many people use "keep well" as a sign of kindness, Its like saying "Regards" etc, like in the UK people say "Cheers" as thank you, when back in SA "Cheers" means goodbye or used when we drink alot......... weird how the world works and how languages gets twisted :) Cheers buddy

Nice... I like this pic. the shine almost takes your eye off the corrosion ;)

dammit! i hoped noone would notice! Audi wouldnt fix it... apparently its a paint defect and not corrosion... my ****ing **** that aint rust!

This is ASN, these guys notice a lot of things mate... some got CAD/ X-ray vision lol

Since joining up i have seen some great looking cars on here which is good to see and like me has put a lot of time and dedication into keeping them looking at their best.
Just a quick one for all you experienced Mech's out there, i have recently had a sudden drop in power i mean you put your foot down and it seems to be taking a while for the car to decide if it wants to move or not.
i was in for its 80K major service a few week back and nothing got picked up there and not sure what the issue could be, things i have checked:-
Pipes for air leaks that i can see
Cleaned the throttle body
Replaced coolent sensor
Timing belt and water pump was changed on service along with NGK Irridium plugs.

The car is standard 210Bhp but due for a CC Remap, Milltek catback exhaust with JBS decat pipe and possible JBS exhaust manifold if worth it.

Appriciate your help with this.

Cheers guys Olly

Cheers guys for the kind welcome!<br>

I fitted a Bmc cda last week, I bought a de cat which came today, so that will be the next step! Not sure what to do next to be honest!

Nice Motor Luke, next you might need to get a Downpipe, Silicone Turbo Intake Pipe (TIP) e.g the Badger5 TIP. Theres a lot to do but there's a start.

I'm tempted to do the pipes, I read that the originals collapse under pressure. Is this true, and is there a noticeable difference replacing them?

theres a noticeable difference mate, both in sound and power. the car breathes better as the standard pipes are considerably bigger than the standard pipes.

I was going to say "that looks like Southport to me" but then I read your location and I'd guessed right xD I grew up there for 10 years, is there much of a vag scene going on or is it still full of people's grandparents? Lol
