I know we got an interior (I got some new pics to post) and a engine bay thread (should have new pics soon) but do we have one for alloys?

if not get posting your alloy wheels on your b5 images, or something.
needs to be your car not a tinterweb searched image.

Great idea Scott as it's always a ****** when trying to find a set of wheels for your car without seeing them fitted this should help a few of these people !!!

Well I'm currently running stock 17" boleros.

Their not fat fives.
They look like B6 sport alloys or at least from a B6.
Fat Fives are fatter. :)

Does look nice and there is deffo a hint of a spoilerness going on.

They are RS6 reps and the spoiler is an E46 M3 lip spoiler. Need to get it painted but just don't have time. Will add a couple extra pics of it tomorrow.

Nah mate, dont have the dispensible cash like in my last job, got other "priorities" the mrs says, something about food n mortgage or that, wasnt really listening!:whistle2:

I just need to do some trial fitting with dif tyre sizes, a slight stretch may be required, but want to get the beefiest one on there without any issues before shelling out for a full set of new bands!

Hey, whats wrong with my poverty spec calipers??? Thats a "to do" thing aswell, looking into decent Porsche fronts for the SC install whenever i get the readies gathered, dying for that last push to get the work done, willing to sell my body if theres any takers?:yahoo:

Glad to see I'm not the only one with a 'mrs' problem, and all I want is a set of coilovers.

Aye, they know how to keep the lads in check eh! lol Ive got a bit of a cheek right enuff, i did throw quite a few bob into the Audi last year, she was good about that!:asskicking:

The avant (purply colour) ,they look like 16"inch speedlines , ihave 18"rs4s on at mo but putting std speedlines back on sprayed gun metal grey .... I think they are a nice looking wheel ..

My current rims: 18" Mercedes AMG, custom colour powder-coat, subtle 50mm drop :whistle2:

Lol liking the "Mr D_T" haha.

Don't like side on ones at the mo, the discs are far too small as it stands, got plans in mind for a 312 upgrade. But yea need to get more prolific with my pics :) not as bad as Scott though :lmfao:

Do Golf V6 4motion carriers fit ours?
I think they are 312mm.

Eddie, looking lovely there mate, Sportecs look cool! Maybe could space them a bit?

Hows the engine going now, all run in etc?

Cheers mate, the wheels are running standard ET of 20, and there is only about 5mm between tyre and inner arch so i dont have much room to play with. I am thinking of going for different wheel again, not sure what to go for.

Still having problems, it has egt problems again and the car has a massive power drain so the battery keeps going flat (the car has had 3 new batteries in the last year) It is still a work in progress so if business goes well i will be pulling the engine myself and building it to a 2.8, running much better valve train & cams and have it rev to 8krpm to get the maximum from the lo700's.

You out and about in your car yet? It looks great in those pictures, such a deep red looks very similar to my mates golf rallye g60.

Thats crap theres still issues, must pi$$ you off when you just want it going!

Aye, best up it tae 2.8, in my league then instead of that underpower 2.7! lol

Cars nearly there, had it on the road last year for about a month! lol. Pulled it back off cos i knew i would never finish it if i kept driving it, but work has been changing and im currently out of country now, so cant get it done at the minute. Soon as i get back for good it will be finished and out n about, need to get to some meets with it n shows etc, probably another year thou! Doh!

Yeah it is getting to me a little as i dont think i have actually driven it when it has been running 100% as it has never been 100% since the build.

Yeah 2.8 puts me in your league ;-) my thinking is mainly just going 2.8 for the sake of it as i dont fancy 3.0 as i want to keep it free reving and have it rev high. I also just want to be sure to crack the 700 barrier :)

Good stuff, i have not even seen your car up close yet :-( Yeah get it together and hit some shows, AITP will be a great show this year plus there as some ones up here and i am trying to lay the foundations to a massive scottish meet one a year, but the plans are in the very very early stages.

My 2.5 TDi Quattro, on 18x9J Genuine TTRS's with Hub-Centric 15mm Spacers, all round.

Different?...not seen much with these wheels on yet ;)

I think the S8 has 18" Boleros! A set was going on ebay the other day.

Bad picture but you get the idea

Wider than standard bolleros also. I believe they were on an Audi 80 vert

Edit: there are no spacers fitted in the above pic but wheels do need a refurb.

I'll check what's stamped on the back of them the next time I have them off the car. The tyres are 235/45(poss 40)/17 rear and 225/45/17 front with a bit of stretch as the tyres were cheap :)

Mine are the wider ones then by the looks of it. Just checked the spare and here is what I saw :D

Edit: the spare is still silver and has the diamond cut lip still :)
