Im looking at buying the D-Lite DRL headlights but I'll need someone to fit them. Any suggestions in the Teesside area? I don't wanna go to just any garage cause most garages see your car as a piece of metal and not your pride and joy. I've had some bad experiences.

Any suggestions would be great :o.k:

Theres a few VAG indies around but still I don't think they will treat my car the way id want it to be treated.

Try user NHN.

Have you got a link to the headlights in question so I can look at the wiring diagrams please.

Be careful these could be for left hand drive cars only!!!

You need to buy right hand drive specific headlights or the beam pattern will be all wrong.

I didnt even bother to ask, ****, I hope they are. Im sure other members on here have the same lights? I've e-mailed them but hopefully they will be fine. If anyone has these lights would they let me know if there ok for right hand drive cars. Cheers

i did a misstake buying Dectane Devil Eyes on my B7, they look great but they were a pain in the ***.. the light was awful, the leds were not bright enough..
I wouldnt buy such things again.. instead of theese buy original bi-xenon bro. dont spend money on thoose, idid buy my bixenons from germany 250 euro with everything including the kufatec cable..

as above plug an play
bumper off thats it
hours work

Did you have these lights Bez? Are they for right hand drive cars do you know? Are the LED's really that weak?

Also do they cause any errors?

Are these lights bad for steaming up? Ive noticed a few aftermarket lights suffering with condensation.

Oh dear they dont sound to good then, tbh each to there own but they dont look too great either, if I'm honest I would suggest fitting oem xenons, far better.

Thats goosed you now, 1 saying good other saying bad lol, then again Bez used better lighting systems with them so maybe helped.

Well as long as the led's are bright I can upgrade the bulbs. I'd love HID's but with the new laws etc I think i'll just go for quality bulbs and hope for the best.

Cheers guys, once again being a member of this site has helped me no ends :icon_thumright:

Bez as you have fitted the lights before, are they the type that have a shutter that opens and closes when flicking between dipped/high beam

These are the ones I used to have, and they did

u must have had bi-xeons
mine wasnt and the link aint there normal h7's
never seen aftermarkets with the bi-xeon

did urs come wih ballasts etc

Not bi-xenons, just projector lens fitted with std bulbs, If i remember they are made by Depo, problem I had was that when flicking between dipped/high the shutter in the projector lens often stuck open, just wondered if those lights you had, had the shutter too.

never herd of them haveing a bi-xeon shutter with normal bulbs
these dont have them

Halogens have 2 seperate bulb locations, so also find it hard to have shutter based halogens.

the ones on that link dont seem to have shutters
my st has bi-xeon if im right shutter comes up with high beam and also the other high beam bulb works hence bi-

I'm no expert on lights, but they definately weren't bi-xenon, and had the shutter, the o/s shutter was forever sticking open (quick stop, bang on headlight-voila shut).
Got rid of them to fit gen bi-xenon but ebayer let me down, so now looking for a new set, like the idea of your old type fitted with hid kit tho.
