Those photos are awesome mate good work. The car looks stunning.

Where did you get the LEDs from if you don't mind me asking and did they throw up any bulb warning lights?

Cheers Gates and the leds are all off ebay bud they are error free ones they have built in resistors. No codes no worrys and cheap.

Looks good mate. I was thinking about going down that road with HID's but they are going to be illegal soon with a fine and 3 points.

Cheers bud didn't think they where gona be illegal just thought they are gona be an mot failure.
Cheers slim

I only found this out from my mate (owns his own garage and is an MOT Tester) last week. For the price and if installed correctly HID's are excellent.

I am trying to find something that is similar to HID's for the price but I dont think its going to happen.

Seriously good pictures matey, car looks really well, hopefully you're alright with the HIDs!

The lights look great. Do you have specific links to the ones you bought?

Cheers

Cheers for the links. Did you have to wire resistors for the fogs?

I ran my A3 with an HID in for nearlly 2 years, never had any unwanted attention with them, but I had adjusted the cut off shields in the projector housing to give them a decent cut off and had them correctly aimed. Trouble with the B7 is they have reflectors which are really bad when HID kits are fitted in them. I have been dazzled on numerous occasions by people with HIDs in reflectors. Now they get my bi-xenon full beam as they come towards me. Pics look wicked by the way, the white makes it look nice a crisp.:thumbsup:Do the number plate lights throw up any errors? Want to fit them to mine, they look awesome.

Loving the pics! Great setting too. Think I'm going to have to get some LED side/fogs now too...

Also, where did you get your front splitter from??

These are about £45 at Seat dealers now, I enquired a couple of months ago.

Spot on, £44.39 in VAT. There may be one on ebay locally for £30... Anyone know if there's any pics of one on a STANDARD s-line bumper, not the one slim boi's got? I've only got a bumper like this: https://www.motoringpicturelibrary.com/docs/4580picc.jpg and don't want a splitter to stick out too far and look odd...? Have searched and googled to no avail

thank you mate i just purchased the same one, but not fromt hat seller, the shipping was to expensive to sweden :s

are the led number plate lights legal? ill get some if they are, are they just a straight bulb swap?

in Sweden they are illegal, tho ive seen some new cars like new Beemers that has leds on their license plates, so i think it will be legal soon.

Thats why your not getting errors, if you plug your car into VCDS it will say you got the fog bulb and plate lamps out.

if you got FULL DIS you will throw an error up for fogs and plate lamps on there, so you got the better DIS as you can get it looking good like you have without the pesky error.

Hello slim boi
would it be possible for you to send me the website link for exact kit you purchased from hid direct please?
Also are you running full beam as hid aswell?

Slim boi quick question , I have bought the same led fogs and when I put them on works fine but the warning on the dash board came up. What did you do or what I haven't done right . Please let meKnow , if I need resistors or not . As I thought they were plug and play .

fitted the number plate bulbs and got the nasty error light on:sob:
