Good morning guys. Weather is shocking here. It is trying to snow, its extremely windy, and very very cold.
 
Ok guys, this is my 3000 th post, saved it for pub. Im now going to have coffee, just like james, but I think i may have a nice sandwich with mine. :) x

Why are zips up to close and down to open?
Would it not make more sense for them to be down to close and up to open?
Less chance of them falling open that way.

And you'll find that zips don't "fall open" because of gravity, the zipper gets forced down because of the separating of the zip strips/runners.

Trust me, i'm a zip expert. :ninja: :undwech:

What ever the reason for them opening.
If they was up this way, they would not open.

This goes for pockets, jackets, coats, hoodies. any thing really.

Some applications they need to be the current way but still.
The point stands.

It would be equally annoying with pockets etc because when the zip gets knackered, they would just fall closed...

More to the point, why not just not break your zips and then they won't fall open.

I have an answer to this dilemma.... Buttons. Problem solved.

Velcro would probably keep coming unstuck. You know how bad velcro goes after a few times through the washing machine. Hooks are cheaper and possibly (I dont wear bras so wont know for sure) easier to hook up then to zip up behind your back!

Did that brought up about six pages but none had the vids on. So I went either side of em and got bored of looking
