Nigel has taken my car away in order to fit S3 side skirts which he is also having painted for me.
At the same time he is fitting an S3 rear bumper instead of the 2009 s-line bumper I had before. He's also having rear parking sensors installed which I am hoping one day to match with front parking sensors and the optical parking sensor display on the rns-e.
He also supplied me with a white DIS that I am very much looking forward to having fitted. Nigel is having it recoded to the car and the mileage corrected at the same time.
There was no way I could co-ordinate getting all this done so I am very grateful to him for going above and beyond.
In other non audi modding news, I just took delivery of my new car which is the first brand new car I've ever bought.
I asked the dealership not to wash car as I intended to have it protection detailed from new. Whilst at the detailers - Valet Magic in Camberley, I was convinced to have the entire front end clear wrapped as the car is so prone to stone chipping, and the paint is famously soft.
I was reluctant having had it done before to a black GTR as I thought it ruined the looks, but on a grey car, you can't easily spot the change in finish, and to improve on that further, I am told as the wrap settles the finish will get better and better over the next three weeks.
I am totally over the moon with the results especially as the paint was completely swirl free before, and now it will remain that way.
I will post pics of the audi when done, but unless someone wants to see the wrap, since it's not an audi, I haven't posted any pics.
