going buy a3 1.8 t just want see how low u can get them as want wheel in arch maybe on 18s or super low on 16s

This was my previous A3 on Eibach coilovers... Was wound all the way down at the back (with adjuster still in so still about 5mm to go) and had about 10-15mm further to go on the front cos wanted to protect the sump... 1.8T's are tall engines and the sumps sit very low. If you're going very low I suggest you drive very carefully as I still managed to crack my sump even with this set up!

What size are you rims then, thought you said they were 18's? . . .

just to add... the rolling radius of 18's with 225/40/18's (which i think most have and what i had, not 205/45/18 as i previously stated) is almost i identical to the rolling radius of the standard 16' sport rims with the standard tyres (what ever size they are!?) so the tyre will be sitting in pretty much exactly the same place in the arch on both 18's and 16's

17's with low profile, and a 30mm drop is the best IMO

As promised, some more recent pictures (winter wheels) Back springs are all the way down on adjusters, front coilovers are 40mm from their lowest setting
