Hi,
Audi A3 2.0 TDI Sport 04,
Recently got a J519 module fitted due to front windscreen wipers stopped working, since fitting some interior lights have stopped working including: lights on door handle, lights in compartment under radio and ambient light which shines down from roof, plus all button lights for radio, heaters and elec windows all flash continuously, not sure is this coding issues or what?, any help or advice would be much appreciated.
cheers.

Hi, welcome to ASN. Where abouts do you live? Its possible you may need your car scanned with vcds. Sure one of the guys will be along shortly. Enjoy the forum. :)

sounds very much like a coding issue. who fitted and coded it?

What was the old CE board part number & whats the new CE board part no.

Its not always as simple as plugnplay as there are various versions, coding plays a part yes, but so does the wiring, massively sometimes aswell.

Thanks for replying,
new part no:8P0907279P
old part no: 8P0907279A
Is it possible that at the point when the new module was coded in that if the light/dimmer switch plug wasn't connected properly this could have caused a fault? if not is there any way of restoring back to be recoded? to try again.

Well for a start you have a low line board & they've installed a high line board.

what's your suggestions?
what is the difference between the two boards?

Wiring differences potentially & coding.

Cant use an A for a P, not even close.

Thnx NHN but in my market i can find just A and F. What you think for F, can i use it instead of P

Has to ideally be a K or a P, they're both 30 byte, so you shouldn't go less or functions may stop.
