A Bit of Carbon Wrapping

Just thought I'd post my first attempt at carbon wrapping. There were a couple of scratches on the gear stick surround so I thought I'd cover them and I'd seen someone on here wrap their front splitter and thought I'd give it a go.

The pictures aren't great as I took them on my iPhone and light was fading.

What do you think?

No it doesn't come off but it wasn't too hard to do.

No more than a couple of hours. It was a bit of a pain but nothing too bad.

Looks good fella, well done! I reckon you need to trim around the silver ring at the base of the gator (so its visible still) like I've done ...

100% sure pre facelift splitter doesn't come off? It does on facelift.

Just checking before I have to get down on my knees to check lol

I bought 3M vinyl to do this after seeing silkys S3, but like you mines a pre facelift so doesnt come off.

Any tips on doing it, did you have any problems?

Unfortunately it definitely won't come off.
As for tips, I wrapped the 3 uprights first then just used a hair drier and a cloth and a bit of bad language. I started in the middle and worked outwards.

Pattern direction match fail

Funny thing is I didnt even consider this when I did mine and somehow I just wrapped it so it matched!

It would have been loads easier if the splitter had come off but it wasn't too bad.
