B6 A4 TDI Sport weird noise behind dash

Hi folks new to the forum,

I have the above mentioned car.

Anyway when i take the key out of the ignition a funny noise comes from behind the dash.

Sounds like mechanical flaps of some sort with like a clicking sound inbetween.

Now,air was not coming out of the main 2 vents above the radio so i had a motor

replaced for that behind the dash and its working 100%.

Any ideas what the sound is?

I do hope its only that Ian.I personally feared the worst mate.

mine makes noises too, havent taken all that much notice of what kind of noise it is exactly (clicking etc), will be goin out later so will have a listen n report bk

My 8l s3 makes this noise,very quiet tho,just sounds like the inlet flap motor resetting,same noise happens when you turn the key off or switch the heating/ac system off
